Personally, keep the head size the same... it suits him.

Yeah I agree with the cookie, I like it. It looks good on him. Speaking of things looking good on him, I like his facial expression. It looks all serious. :3

Perhaps a scabbard for his sword? So he isn't carrying it around all day?

Well the Samurai's animation would probably make him carry the sword around all day anyways. But maybe we could give him that. That way, it looks like he doesn't carry it around all day, and thathe only puts it away when you're not watching him but has it out when you are because he knows you are there and he's prepared to kick you ass. Ah, the power of Sight.

I’m also a fan of what’s been modelled here. I’ve really been enjoying looking at all the renderings and concepts on the WftO site. The thing with the Samurai is that they have such a rich culture and one of the most detailed and varied armour’s of any warrior around, yet the DK samurai look like they are hanging out in sweat pants and an old Gym jumper all day. The Samurai is my favourite DK character (Not half obvious lol) for many reasons, they are excellent to have on your side, train at an alarming rate and I really like the sound they make when picked up and dropped (Which I hope is being kept in the WftO project) a very Asian grunt! I have some aesthetic suggestions which may be irrelevant as I’m not sure if anything is in stone yet but here goes. Firstly and most importantly – Armour, my drawing below shows the direction I’m heading in. We can’t have one of the greatest hand to hand fighters walking around in his dressing gown. I do agree however with not giving him a helmet, the model above by Bluto has the right idea with the expression but I think they definitely need to look more Asian, it makes no sense otherwise. The top knot or top pony tail, similar to the mistress should be incorporated also as it is their tradition. My face below has a scar but I’m not saying they all should have one. Also in regards to the sword or Katana, it should be sheathed unless being used, if you guys are planning to stay true to story and law.

+1 to the ponytail - you can see on the model it has its hair pointed to one point, I will make that part True Hair (in the cinematics)

I don't agree with the armor though...

how do you trust a katana through your heart if there is armor there anyway?

Is that because its too hard to animate or because you dont like it? A samurai without armour is like a knight going into battle with only his long johns.

I think that would exactly explain the reason why the Samurai in DK1 were rather agile and fast, as opposed to the Knight.
