I think we should have them but make it so they can be disabled. Also, the computer must be able to create them too.

I know many of you hate the elites, but they were a nice addetion to dk2. I was woundering, what should they be called, should we add them, and should we get elite good guys.
Exactly what madkill said "'Elite' is just a term used to create an unbalanced unit." - Kyle

'Elite' is just a term used to create an unbalanced unit.
"In this eerie world so bold and true, I stand atop the hill to get away from you.
Transparent in indulgences and bewildered by trust, I'd happily assume that killing you is a must."
Then maybe we can make them more balance. they are still worthy of grabing, but not as strong or fast

no, they become strong and faster, but not too unbalanced.

I think Elites should be kept, but perhaps make them better at their trade and sort of miss out the extra 1337 battle prowess.
They should also have no OBVIOUS scripting command or requirement to get them - it should (if possible) be dynamic - you'll have to find a relatively unique way to get them each and every time you play.
For example, providing you have a Temple you might attrack a Dark Angel via the use of possessing something and slaughtering heroes one game, but need to make pilgrimage to the Dark Gods the next.
Creature Profile Here
Elites are just hero units basically (and I don't mean Good Heroes)
I don't think they should be included in multiplayer, personally![]()
Here's a random option:
First creature that hits level 10 may continue to train to level 11, at which point he transforms into a level 10 elite creature of that race. Only 1 per race.
But in that sense you can simply say level 10 creatures can be considered elites, compared to lower level creatures. If anything it's fairly pointless unless you have a good storyline purpose for them.
