As for now, I'm not planning any fix to Official Editor.

Youve done excellent work with Keeperfx, mefistotelis, but can you also provide a quick fix for the DK official editor? Youve fixed the fast scrolling on the scorecard and credits in dungeon keeper, but the whole editor runs so fast that it makes making a map painfully difficult. Do you think you can provide a fix for that as well?
It would also allow you to incorporate new elements into Keeperfx as well... Just a thought.

slowdown.exe is the (temp.) solution. Works for me... Thank DL.Youve done excellent work with Keeperfx, mefistotelis, but can you also provide a quick fix for the DK official editor? I suffer from the same problem. Our computers are too good. I learned to work with it. If moving around the map is a problem, try using "Plan View" and zoom all the way out. Then move around with the "Map View".
Dungeon Keeper 1 Patch: Sexier Beetles and Reaper Control [Currently on Hold]
I like how HR is. Nearly Done with Quick Creature Revision. Playtesting through Deeper Dungeons - Thread/Level Revision on Hold
Batezek can go to hell. Never playtesting there again.
Dungeon Keeper 2 Patch: With More Balance and Pie [Updated: 5/18/12]
Playtesting while Remaking Official Campaign.
Screw the Change Log. Changes are so Drastic that it isn't relevant anymore.

The way I do it... when I do it... is to avoid at all costs to touch the screen boundaries with the mouse and never use the arrow keys, and make slight adjustments by clicking on the minimap to center my view on the spot.
My biggest problems with the official editor tho, are the mouse speed (that offten leads me to scroll the view) and the tiny screen resolution that gives me a poor overview of the map...
Just an idea but could you not run it in DOSBox and then turn the CPU cycles down to an acceptable level?
I tried it. It's not a dos application. Needs windows...
Is it that hard to program a map editor?
I don't know that much of programming, but this editor seems to be as simple as Warcraft 2 editor is.
So isn't this something that can be programmed "easily"? (I mean, by keeping it as basic as the official one)
(Not requesting it to mefistotelis, just trying to get an idea of it)
