Cannot connect to multiplayer, hangs on Please wait.

My friend and I just tried to play a multiplayer game but for both of us it hangs on "Please wait" when connecting to each other's games. We are both running Windows Seven (me on Ultimate x64, he on Home Premium x86) with the same Dungeon Keeper executable (patched to 1.7) over the latest version of Hamachi.

We can see each other's games just fine but when when we connect the game will just hang until the server closes. Any ideas?

He put it in the right part of the forum, DK2 -> DK2 Multiplayer. And that he mentions 1.7 points out that it is DK2

I am too getting this problem. my friend and I are using the same exe file. we both have DKII Silver edition and the same exes which is the 1.8. its really pissing me off
