Yeah, most pictures I've seen have Fairies with elf ears.

Another great start Bluto, I think her face is close to perfect already. I'd make some small alterations to her body by trimming her down slightly so that she looks more petite, and light weight (but not anorexic). You can do this by reducing the size and width of her knees, ankles, elbows and wrists. I also trimmed down her waistline to give her a stylised bodyshape, again to make her look more lightweight.

I sketched in some ears but I think it'd be best to wait until her hairstyle has been finalised before going ahead with them so that they can be matched and balanced together.

Perhaps it would be cool, if the proportions were tweaked a bit like the are in the dungeon keeper games. I think that would be cool to have as few characters as possible with exact size and proportion of a human. Since right now, i feel like it's the exact same as The Dark Mistress, just without the armor....
By the way, do we have any concept of the Fairy?

Thats because it IS the same model.

It's quite difficult to work on 40 models at the same time, I can only work on one, therefore this model is at its very early stages.

I'm still waiting for it, therefore production on this model has stopped temporarily

Can't wait to see how this turns out. If I remember rightly the original fairy was very plain but carried a wand, while the sequels replacement wore fancy head gear and, while looking more Fairy like, seemed a bit ore playful than anything. No time to play when your sent in to kill heroes.
The new concept art for the Fairy in DK Online seems to mix the too. She looks kind of like a little hex casting witch with purple butterfly wings.

Oh Im babbiling again. I just hope our version and be as good and better. Personally the younger she look sthe better in my mind as Fairies usually look like little kids anyway. But somehow tough as well, but if ths is shwon through her cloths or charms she may be wearing is up to the concept artist.

I think Fairies do still need to look grown-up - if we design her too 'kiddy'-like, she will look too much like the Pixie.

I'd just go with DK1 design, maybe with some tweaks here and there. Up to the concept artists to decide, of course.
