My map won't save at all

So I created a map, just to test, sevral times actually in the official DK2 Editor, and even tried the PRO one.
But it wont create ANY files whatso ever, no KWD, no KLD, nothing at all..
I'm kinda frustrated, because I really want to design my own DK2 levels.
I'm using version 1.8, I tried that because it didnt work in 1.7 either, but, to no avail.. Nothing will save..
Strange is though, it does save somehow, but it won't show up in the editor folder, I can only open it in the map editor....

Be sure that the level editor is placed into the "editor" folder and ensure that the "maps" folder is not "read only". Also, try running the level editor as an administrator. This should make it.
