I think alpha on Xmas is a bit too optimistic.

Call it a public prototype showcase, and I'll be happy. Released as it is, that's what it is. Or a pre-alpha. Proof of concept. I dunno. But I think assuming we'll be alpha by christmas is too optimistic as well.
