    Skills:
    Level 1: Melee
    Level 3: Arrow/Thorn
    Level 5: Freeze/Entangle
    Level 7: Maneater*
    Level 9: Snatch**
    Level 10: Unknown***

    * A giant flower springs beneath a foe, enveloping it and devouring the creature. Flower has about as much health as the Dryad, and low armor. The unit inside will take gradual damage, half of which is restored to the Dryad. The Flower can still be hit by the trapped creature, as well as by others. The flower will last until either the creature inside is killed, it has taken enough damage or 15 seconds have passed.
    45-60 Seconds cooldown.

** A root snakes towards an enemy creature, once it reaches the target, the creature is grabbed and dragged back to the Dryad. The root has a very long range (15 tiles), but is fairly slow getting there. Once the target is grabbed, the speed will increase.
    Cooldown: 10 secs

*** I don't know what to put here, if you have an idea, please say so in a comment.

Certain creatures are completely immune to all her special attacks. (Ones marked with a *)
    -Horned Reaper
    -Avatar
-Bile Demon (Because of his, erm, 'girth')
    -Imps (Too fast and small)

Thats who is immune right now, any other ideas?

    Special Abilities

Grotesque Aspect- Cowardly creatures are frightened by her.

    Information:
The Dyad is the body of a women that has been corrupted by nature after years under the earth. The roots that envelop the body slowly repair the it, rebuild it in a natural form, and when they are finished, Mother Nature herself gives the monstrosity life. They are found in large caverns, sleeping for eons before being awoken by the sudden activity. Their purpose is unclear, as is everything else about them. They are very vulnerable to fire (50% weakness to fire) and so tend to stay way from creatures that use fire.

Behavior in Dungeon: When idle, the creature will visit the graveyard, trying to understand exactly what brought them to life. They will also spend much of their time sleeping, whether or not they are actually tired. They will awake whenever an enemy creature has stepped on their Keeper's tile, being attuned with the earth, they can hear the earth calling to them. They tend to avoid the Tavern because of the recklessness of the creatures inside it. They are quite wise, but will never go to a library unless told to.

    Battle Style: Offensive Support
I don't really know what else to call her. She usually stays away from the main battle and picks off straying creatures, but will usually need some kind of guard as her abilities take time.

Jobs: She is an excellent guard in that she knows whenever a creature steps foot in your dungeon

    Obtainable By: Neutral, Conversion, Torture

    Hates: Units who use fire.

    Loves: Other Dryads. Graveyards

Anger reaction: Takes all the bodies in the Graveyard

Lair: A simple patch of dirt. She will root herself in and turn into a tree.

    Torture: Sets her on fire

    As usual, feedback is appreciated

    I like it, generally.

Just a couple points of note:

I suggest its recovery rate be high instead. For cripes' sake, it's a tree. Would make sense if it were high.

All other stats look good. Maybe less in agility, as it doesn't seem that agile to me.

    * A giant flower springs from beneath a foe, enveloping it and devouring the creature. If the flower is hit three times, the creature will escape and the flower will go back underground. The enemy creature will take average damage every 10 secs. Duration is 20 secs. If the creature being devoured is killed, half of its health is transferred to the Dryad.
    Cooldown: 60 secs

    Cooldown: 80 secs
*** The Dryad embraces a creature, slowly absorbing it into herself. (I don't like this one. Any ideas?)
    Cooldown: 120 secs

For Maneater, I suggest its working be like this instead:

    * A giant flower springs beneath a foe, enveloping it and devouring the creature. Flower has about as much health as the Dryad, and low armor. The unit inside will take gradual damage, half of which is restored to the Dryad. The Flower can still be hit by the trapped creature, as well as by others. The flower will last until either the creature inside is killed, it has taken enough damage or 15 seconds have passed. 45-60 Seconds cooldown.

Basically, make it sturdier, breakable from both inside and outside, and recover health all the time. This way it's less dependent on outside creatures to break.

Snatch: I just love this type of spell. I don't know how slow/fast you imagined it, but in my opinion it could even be fairly fast. And homing. Because it's hella awesome. Should have a min range, of about 2-3 tiles though. Cooldown is way too much, I'd say somewhere between 5 and 10 seconds is good.

Embrace... I don't really like it either. Seems kinda vague also.

Maybe make it like an absorbing root, which does significantly more damage than Maneater and restores all health the enemy loses, but doesn't trap the enemy. Let's say it would last for 20 seconds, cooldown 40 seconds or something.

This I don't really like. I don't like a total invincibility ability on low health. Maybe make it at least more like the Gargoyle, where it at least takes slight damage from most things.

This reminds me a bit of how tortures in general seem to be a bit dumbed down. In DK1, most torture animations seem like they would kill the tortured in ten seconds flat, realistically.

So, let's go more that way instead and just set her on fire already. Bit more in line with DK1's style of torturing.

Yeah, I noticed that. Sometimes the suggestions here don't really run with the DK's style of over the top monsters, instead making them somewhat more realistic monsters. What, do they think they came up with the fat, man boobed, legless Bile Demon by thinking about what would be a realistic monster? Over the top, that's where it's at.

I don't have anything to add to the creature itself, but I got a few name ideas: Treant, Weed, Creeper, Swamp Thing, Bog Witch, Bog Beast, Bog [Insert], Thorn [Insert], or something playing on the traditional Dungeons & Dragons Shambler / Shambling Mound.

EDIT: Perhaps some sort of pun or variation on Hanging Tree?

Hmm, that gave me an idea for a level 10 ability..

Hanging Tree- The Dryad turns itself into a tree, it will grab three units with its vines and hang them from itself. They will be taking constant damage until they are dead, the Dryads tree-form is destroyed (Has very high armor and low health) or 60 seconds have passed. If the creature is killed, the body is thrown at enemies.
    Cooldown 90 secs

I like all the name ideas, funderbunk. Especially Bog Witch.

What do you guys think about the ability?
    Any suggestions of your own?
