Honestly, get over it. When you posted your own version of this, the developers already told you they would be raising stats using a Tech Tree, not an armory.
Just let it go, nobody wants to hear about it anymore.

More importantly, it's essentially just another tool for richer players to buff up their armies more, and Gold is already too useful for that as is. No need to make it even worse.

To my knowledge, it's basically a tech tree of upgrades which you can level up throughout playing the campaign/playing levels which allows the player to benefit from some enhancements throughout play.

[Details intentionally left vague because 1) You do not need to know much about it and 2) I don't know many details about it myself]
