
I prefer the original in DOSBox myself. KeeperFX still has some bugs to work out. It's not 1:1 with the original yet. Seems like it would make more sense to code in map color changes and compile then modify the executable.
I believe one of the main reasons people use FX over the original is the fact that Windows7 cannot (easily) run the original properly.

Doesn't matter either way. Just found the addresses for KeeperFX (.40 with 452 patch). If anyone has any interest, I can post hex locations. I'm trying my best at a C++ patcher, but I'm a bit of a novice. I can easily patch a file, but I can't come up with an efficient system for user choices.
