This creature is a supporter that is very fragile. It has 2 "modes". It has its fast, floating mode to move around, and a stationary attack mode. In the stationary attack mode, it acts as artillery, shelling an area or enemy. It would be a strict combat unit, and is unable to use training rooms, but can use the combat pit.
A beholder sort of looking creature in movement mode, and a jellyfish attached to the floor in artillery mode.
Stats -
Health: Low
Attack: Moderate-High
Defense: Low
Accuracy: Moderate
Speed: Fast (movement mode) stationary (artillery mode)
Dexterity: Low
Intelligence: Low
Wage: Extremely High
Skills:
Level 1: Change Mode- Changes to movement or artillery mode
Level 1: ShellFire (artillery mode) - Fires a single mortar, the longer you hold the farther it goes.
Level 1: Fear Gaze (mobile mode) - Scares away a single enemy for a short time
Level 3: Haste
Level 5: ProximityMines (mobile mode) - Drops a small damaging mine, up to 3.
Level 6: FlameShell (artillery mode) - Acts as a flame spout, surrounding itself in fire, damaging all creatures not immune to lava.
Level 9: HealBomb (artillery mode) - heals all friendly creatures for 1-2 petals.
Hates ALL work, can not train except in real combat (or combat pit), it hates fire-immune creatures (such as salamanders or Giants). It loves stealing gold from its own keeper, which it melts down to make imitation chickens which creatures break their teeth on when they are hungry..

EDIT: specifics, cuz we creatures in this realm are unhappy without them.

I wouldn't drop him in the portal, but torture him until he dies. If I can't, then off in the prison. If I can't do that either, well then I'll make my hand grow weary.

Well his initial abilities are fine i believe. I mean how many times do you see an entire army blown away by a barrage of mortars landing among them in DK? Exactly :P
Okay, maybe not a barrage but either way. 2-3 + some bile demons = good strategy.
no no... his combat thingys r fine... my complain is more oriented to his non-fighting behavior... i feel he is just far too annoying for any kkeper to have...
More like boring win.
Did you consider the type of weapons they actually had? If we could use motars, then we would have seen them before.
