Additionally I saw there is another dwarf fortress remake a bit older and already available on steam

The Dwarfs!? thing is more of a puzzle game.
The other one... mmm doesn't really appeal to me... it looks slow-paced. But it is certainly worth a try.
Look what we learned from the Dungeons game which was supposed to be a Dungeon Keeper based game:
Just because it is to do with tunneling underground and partially matches in name, doesn't mean the game is anything like it...

In fact it's more inspired to dwarf fortress then dungeon keeper, still it seems more similar to DK and funnier then Dungeons :P
