Default How to play downloaded Maps in DK1?

A couple of weeks ago I downloaded maps for Dungeon Keeper, since I've started to become quite tired of playing DD lately. However, I don't know how to play the maps I have downloaded. I read the describtion at the place, where I downloaded the maps - however it doesn't seem to work.

    Can anyone help me?

Easiest way is to rename all map files of one level to MAP00001.{extension}, so it replaces the first map, Smilesville. Then just start a new game/

Alternatively, modify LEVELS.TXT to have the level appear in Skirmish mode.

Using KeeperFX makes it a lot easier, copy the maps to your levels folder and pick the map you want to play from the DD list.

KEEPERFX IS WIN!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!! <3<3<3<3<3

:P and I thought It would be complicated to "install" - Even blondies can figure this shit out :P..

Now I'm going to play allll extra maps! New maps for the first time in 10 years!

Thanks so much for the help guys! I love this forum / community!

oh yea one more thing, which I forgot in my excitement.

When I now play the game from the KeeperFX exe file, the graphics ingame are really poor compared to how it looked like, before I merged the files with my directory. The room and creature icons, are way less detailed as before, as goes for the rest of the graphics. Is there a way to fix this back to how it original was, or can't the graphics be changed in the keeper FX?

    - Okay I just found the answer to this And of course in the corners of the KeeperKlan forum, where I yet not have been!
