A very, very weak unit that only becomes useful when used in groups of at least ten. The peasants are stupid, weak and ineffective and will even lose a fight to a dwarf - just.
Health: Low to Medium
Attack: Low
Defense: Low
Armour: Low to Medium
Accuracy: Medium
Speed: Medium
Dexterity: Low
Intelligence: Low to Medium

Behavior in Dungeon and Hang-Out Group
Peasants will hang around each other as well as fellow heroes. They spend their time either drinking, filling up your guard spaces with their inferior worthless hides, training, or mooching around your hatchery .eating all the chickens.
Jobs
-Guard
-Train
Behavior in the Overworld
When in the Over-world peasants can be seen massing into great armies and patrolling rural areas.
Obtainable by: You can gain them from torture or temple but neither method is exactly worthwhile.
Style: Flanker
Hates: Libraries, Warlocks, Wizards
Loves:
Appearance:
Attracted by: Lair
Background:
Peasants are the hardworking, but content and overly happy residents of the realms you seek to take. Instead of running around, cowering in fear or whatever else citizens do when attacked by hellish hordes of evil beasties, peasants will take up arms to fight for their lord. A noble gesture perhaps, but such is their fighting prowess that they only ever get themselves killed.
Although they appear underground on occasions, Peasants are most common on the surface where they will form large groups in attempts to overwhelm unwary Keepers.

Dungeon Keeper 1 Patch: Sexier Beetles and Reaper Control [Currently on Hold]
I like how HR is. Nearly Done with Quick Creature Revision. Playtesting through Deeper Dungeons - Thread/Level Revision on Hold
Batezek can go to hell. Never playtesting there again.
Dungeon Keeper 2 Patch: With More Balance and Pie [Updated: 5/18/12]

Screw the Change Log. Changes are so Drastic that it isn't relevant anymore.

I give a YES for a peasant, however I'd sggest to make him non-controllable at all, sorta critter.
A frag to kill =) Would be fun. Or having peasants simply wandering around your Hero lands. Would make more sense than having only combat units.
Or peasants can be the equivalent of imps for the heroes

My opinion about pretty much everything:

"In this eerie world so bold and true, I stand atop the hill to get away from you.
Transparent in indulgences and bewildered by trust, I'd happily assume that killing you is a must."
