Something I think should be brought back and discussed...
Boss Creatures, from what I recall from the old keeper klan, are extremely tough creatures who will rarely be fought and as "sidequests". They can vary in size, cannot be converted (besides 1x1 boss creatures) and may be able to spawn smaller creatures/dig towards your dungeon. If left alone they will regenerate their health, preventing a sudden attack, withdraw, and attack again.
They also do not chase you to far away from their starting location, this prevents you from bringing them to an enemy keeper/heroes. They are hostile by all, and can only be given to a player if they began with it, are neutral, or converted due to being 1x1 tiles.

Boss creatures digging toward your dungeon?

*Ahem* Anyway, a few select creatures being able to dig to your dungeon sounds fun.
However, what exactly makes a boss creauture? Does it have a custom skin or model, or just a normal, larger one? Of course it'll have special abilities and the like, but what will make it stand out from the normal units and not make it similar to an ''elite'' unit?
I wish WTFO has an in-game editor having core features from the War 3 editor (creating / editing custom units for one map only, triggers, a helpful mini-map of your creation, etc).
Oh well, one could dream.

Basically some totally new creature, such as the Leviathan that has a huge health and damage, usually taking quite a few creatures to defeat it.
WftO, I imagine, would be pretty open source, so you could modify it anyway you please to include newer creatures as long as you hold the knowledge to do so.
