Hi guys,

I've worked the last months on this patch and tried my best to improve the game as possible. I couldn't fix all bugs, but I think with this update we all can play better Dungeon Keeper 2 (together) as in past.

I thank all people who helped me to test DK2 and who helped me to find out some bugs and problems.

Don't forget: You need to patch DK2 to 1.7 before. If you have 1.73f, just install, there are no problems.

- The game can now be played without the CD
- The movies can now be watched without the CD
- Fixed a problem with Safedisk
- Fixed a problem with QSound
- Fixed a problem in the chat-lobby, users with different language-versions of DK2 can
now chat with each other
- The official DK2-Editor is included
- The DK2-Bonuspacks 1,2 and 3 are included
- The maps 'Furnace' and 'Olympia' are now compatible to each player
- The maps 'Islands' and 'Platform' are available for skirmish
- The map 'Traptime' is available for multiplayer
- In some campaign-levels there couldn't attract Goblins, Fireflys. Rogues,
Black Knights and Dark Angels, now this creatures are available in all this levels
- The german version of DK2 is now uncensored (blood and torture animations)

Either way, installed the patch and the game wont boot up now, gonna try a fresh install

lol, no. that was 1.73 log. either you have mislooked, or there is no 1.8 log. You simply see the old log.

uh... then what was it you fixed?? game was running with 1.73, maps were fixed mostly, (lvl 1 bugged), all BP's included in patch 1.7...

So yeah, what is in 1.8? cos I saw no changes, except for my .exe being destroyed

Tried a fresh install but errr.. my DVD drive just chewed it up.. off to find a torrent
