The Avatar is the final Hero encountered in the Dungeon Keeper campaign. He's the leader of all Heroes and therefore can be considered the primary antagonist of the game, even though he only appears in one level and virtually notting is heard from him throughout the game.

Skybird Trill

The Avatar is encountered twice in the final level of the Dungeon Keeper campaign, Skybird Trill. The first time he has been captured by the Computer Enemy and has been placed on an island surrounded by lava. Even in this first appearance it's possible for the Player to capture and convert him but this will trigger the final stage of the level. There are a few ways to get him off his island, possessing a creature that has Tornado or Word-of-Power will do the trick.

It's possible to let him combat the Computer Enemy, but even he won't be likely to stand a chance.

After being killed (or converted, betrayal is here the same) he will be ressurected by his lieutenants and will lead a massive invasion all over the realm to the Player. The Avatar himself spawns quite near the Dungeon Heart of the Player, to the westeren path the player can claim in the beginning of the level to be precise.

Abilities

The Avatar is by far the strongest unit, most of his combat abilities are equal if not superior to those of the Horned Reaper. Other than his he has powerful abilities to back him up. Even more amazing would he has special powers only he has acces to.

Level 1: Attack

Level 2: Protect

Level 4: Heal

Level 6: Freeze

Level 7: Drain

Level 8: Guided Missle

Level 9: Invisibility

Level 10: Word-of-Power

Unique:

Other than these fearsome skills he has immunity to being crushed by boulder traps, who are shattered on impact. He's immune to the chicken spell, and while he can be diseased he has far too much health to make a short term solution.
