The installer will not even run on Windows 7(64bit). I have tried compalibility mode and Run as Admin but neither of these work.
If you could give me a solution that would be great.

downgrade to wind xp. even vista works slightly better than 7. But dk1 is old, and CANNOT run on newer OS's

Or get KeeperFX. It works perfectly on W7.

KeeperFX doesnt work loads splash screens then closes.

You know there's a readme file that could have already solved your problem.

If not, then why don't you report it here in order to fix this problem for yourself, and anyone else who has it.

Yes no duh, I'm giving you a suggestion in case you're one of those who don't read, or even notice, the readme. There have been times when FX has solved the issue. If you're going to give me that then why should I try to help?

Arguing isn't going to solve anything, by the way.


well, look on the old forum for vista fixes, and see if those will work

I'm not too sure if a vista fix will work on W7, but it can still lead to newer ideas.
