Ok, I know you guys know a lot about dk1/2, but how much do you really know. I will quiz you on both common, and uncommon knowledge of dk1 and dk2. If you somehow answer all the questions correctly, you have the right to ask more difficult questions, and so on and so on.

The one with the highest score, by the end of the month may be unofficaly called "the best dk fan ever."

NOTE: these are not for the faint of heart. You must REALLY know your dk1 and 2 well. Please no cheating by looking in the game, that is just unmoral (and not in a good way).

All right, here are 10 questions to help you get started. DK1 DK2 Hard 3 Medium 2 Easy 1

1.) Name all the ways you may get a creature.

2.) Name all the creatures/heros with speed spell.

3.) Name all the spells the Avatar has.

4.) How long (in secounds) does it take to research "destroy Walls"

5.) Name all the jobs a creature can do.

6.) On a full moon, you see many diffrent text when you open dk1 or dd. Name as many as you can. (10+ wins)

7.) Tell me all the temple sacrafices.

8.) If your room/creature/trap and door/ other tab thing disapears, how do you make it reapear.

9.) Name everything the enemy keepers say to you.

10.) Tell how to change your color.

1.) What is the King's right hand man, according to the mentor.

2.) What is the name of the keeper who dies in level 7

3.) Name 15 Creature spells

4.) Name 9 Elite Rooms

5.) Name 6 ways you can crash online.

6.) Name all the ways you can get a new creature.

7.) List all the creatures from Best attacker to worst attacker (imp not included)

8.) T or F: Can your dungeon heart heal

9.) How long does the freeze spell work for.

10.) Name 20 Funny Mentor Quotes.

Score:

Dragonslover: 16

Psycopath: 5

heh thats a cool idea.
but you could cheat easily.
and i know nearly nothing about dk1..

i have another idea.
there will be a general quiz about dk1/dk2.
you can ask easy, normal, and hard questions.
easy - 1 point
normal - 2 points
hard - 3 points
the one who gave the right answer can go on and ask a question, he can decide about the difficulty.
we have a list with all who take part and there you add the total points, after each question the list has to be updated.
the thread starter normally begins with a question.
you can ask only 1 question if its your turn.

it looks like:

dk2player:
easy - 1point
in what lvl in campaign you have to fight nemesis ?

dark angel:
in lvl 18

dk2player:
right

List: (posted by dk2player)
dark angel - 1 point

dark angel:
hard - 3 points
"random hard question"

and so on.

the one who has the most points is the "best fan"

you can split dk1 and dk2 quiz, you also can let it together.

That's the general idea, but I like the more points for harder questions. I'll go repost new ones.

1.) Name all the ways you may get a creature.

Through a portal
By sacrificing creatures in the Temple pool
By scavenging
When a humanoid prisoner dies in prison
When a creature dies in torture chamber
When a creature gets converted in torture chamber,
When 10 corpses are added in the graveyard
By finding neutral creatures
By using the Steal Hero magic box
By using the Multiply Creatures magic box
By using the Resurrect Creature magic box
By using the Transfer Creature magic box to get a new one at the next level
By using the Beta cheat to add a creature, hero or tunneller
By using the Create Imp spell (does the Imp count as a creature?)
By the script of the level (like the Orc at Level 7)
By editing the level using a level editor

2.) Name all the creatures/heros with speed spell

:fly:
:troll:
:horny:
:dog:
:imp:
:orc:
:mistress:
:thief: (Thief)
:giant:
:samurai:
:archer: (Archer)

3.) Name all the spells the Avatar has.
Not in order :

Melee (sword)
Armour
Conceal
Heal
Drain
Navigating missile
Word of Power
Freeze

4.) How long (in secounds) does it take to research "destroy Walls"

That depends how many researchers you have, what experience level they have, how good they are skilled at researching, how good the efficiency of the Library is and at which "Game turns per second" the game is running. The total amount of research point of the Destroy Walls spell is 750000 so, if you play the game at 20 game turns by seconds and you drop a single unskilled researching level 1 creature into an efficient Library (like the Fly), it gives 37500 seconds, or 625 minutes, or around 10 hours of research. Will you wait that long?

5.) Name all the jobs a creature can do.

Nothing
Dig
Tunnel
Fight
Explore
Train
Research
Guard duty
Manufacturing
Freeze prisoner
Kinky torture
Group
Barrack Duty
Pray
Scavenge
Seek enemies

6.) On a full moon, you see many diffrent text when you open dk1 or dd. Name as many as you can. (10+ wins)

Like I said in another topic (http://forum.keeperklan.com/full-moon-today-t111.html), I don't know the English full moon messages by heart as I'm playing the French version, but I did list them there. If I don't get any points, that's just too bad then. That question just "sucks" a little.

7.) Tell me all the temple sacrafices.

:imp: = reduces Create Imp spell price by 300 Gold, the minimum being 150 Gold
:fly: + :spider: = :warlock:
:beetle: + :spider: = :mistress:
2 :fly: = Current research completed
2 :beetle: = Current manufacture completed
3 :spider: = :bile:
:mistress: + :troll: + :bile: = :horny:
Gold = Funny quote
2 :bile: = All your creatures become chicken
2 :vampire: = All your creatures are diseased (you get a warning after the first Vampire drop)
:ghost: = All your chickens die
Chicken = All your chickens die
:horny: = All your creatures become angry (but that doesn't seem to work)

8.) If your room/creature/trap and door/ other tab thing disapears, how do you make it reapear.

Press TAB key.

9.) Name everything the enemy keepers say to you.

Again, I don't know the English messages by heart as I'm playing the French version. I know a few of them though :

Your efforts are futile!
My dungeon is the finest you shall ever see.
Your corpse will feed my minions yet, Keeper!
BWAHAHAHAHA!!!
Pathetic creature, I should crush you in an instant!

10.) Tell how to change your color.

You can either use KeeperFX and use the -human X commandline to play the Blue, Green or Yellow keeper in skirmish mode, or you can use the Player Selector Tool to swap the textures and sprites related to Keeper's color. You can also do that by hand, but it's kinda long and complicated.

dk2player

you missed fleeing, and yes you can, but only dk1 related. No one answered the dk2 questions yet.

5.) Name 6 ways you can crash online.

1. Bad Map.
2. dkii.exe has decided not to work, we won't tell you why "Don't Send".
3. Too many creatures shouting their war cry.
4. Have more than 2 players.
5. Faulty Connection.
6. Playing for longer than X amount of minutes.

dk2player

you missed fleeing

Fleeing isn't a job. It's not something you can assign to a creature. I mean, it would be strange that, if a creature is idle, his preferred job is : FLEEEEE!!!

Fleeing is a temporary thing. When a creature is unable to attack an enemy, he runs away and tries to avoid enemy blows. After a little amount of time, he turns back to normal unless he get scared again.

Whilst i'd need to test it personally to be sure, i'm fairly damned sure this wouldn't work for me. The first time this bug occured to me i facepalmed and mashed every key on the keyboard to no avail. The only thing that seems to work for me is quitting to the menu (or the game entirely) and reloading the savegame file.

This is an actual key built into the game. It makes it easy to scroll around and see more at once :P

Dungeon Keeper 2.
1. Lord Pureheart, who you battle in level 16, Stonekeep.
2. Keeper Dante, killed by Lord Titus in Snapdragon.
8. True
10. Your lair has been re-carpeted
Your minions demand cable.
Your dungeon is on an incline. Angry creatures cannot play marbles.
Your Dungeon is full of yogurt.
Hungry Demons cannot reach their toes.
Your dungeon is damp. Install central heating.
A lost soul has wandered into your dungeon. Oh, no, It's wandered out again.
It is the witching hour. Curses are half price.
Are you still there? The imps are about to lock up.
You have an excess of mistresses. There's a word for a keeper like you.
You have something unpleasant under your fingernail.
Never eat anything bigger than your own head, Keeper.
The very rock yawns in anticipation of your next fascinating move.
Only 13, still, enough to get some points? (I didn't cheat BTW)
