Take a look here (http://www.destructoid.com/electronic-arts-files-two-dungeon-keeper-trademarks-144905.phtml)

I hope it's good news. I cross my fingers.

I think they are just refreshing their trademarks personally, plus that news is from 2 years ago.

This will be a game exclusively for the east. No Eu or Us release. Do you realize why?

because they are to lazy to bring it here

Because EA like to show people the finger when those people want something.

Because some parts of the east are rich, extremely consumerist, hold no shame in being addicted to games and don't know DK well enough to know they are getting something crap and untrue to it? I dunno... give us a lead.

MMOs make more money then normal retail games, and are less of a worry as far as piracy is concerned. And when you invest in an mmo, it makes sense to market that part of the world where they're most accepted. It makes sense marketing wise, sure. Besides that, the euro/eu market is still dominated by WOW, where as the asian markets refresh rates of mmos is much higher.

They smell money; thats my conclusion. They might release a EU/US version if there's enough demand for it, by why take a risk when there's (near) sure money to be made. I personally don't believe they'll make a propper DK remake any time soon.

R.I.P. Bullfrog, you are missed sorely.

The competition wont be as direct in the east either. This will probably be a WoW clone of some sorts so why market against WoW where it's biggest.

Because EA like to show people the finger when those people want something.

I agree with that guy :D
