20.4.2011 I bought the DK1 Collector's Edition, avoided the no-cd remark by copying the cds into folders and running the setup in Win7's Win95 compatibility mode. The CD folders are on D:\games\DK1 and so are both installs of DK and DD. Should I install Deeper Dungeons somewhere else? Now Keeper95 launches without the compability mode but Deeper Dungeons' 'Deeper95.exe' crashes after launching and showing the intro video, just before the menu. Can you please tell me is there a fix, other than piracy?

Use KeeperFX.

DK was designed for windows 95 and dos. You can use Dos Box www.dosbox.com which emulates DOS and will allow you to run it smoothly. Still, KeeperFX is the recommended solution.
