In case someone doesn't know yet: on October 26-th yahoo will close all sites located on free geocities hosting. AFAIK, many fansites, including those about Dungeon Keeper are still being hosted there. So I advise to save everything you haven't saved from these pages, as after 26-th all content will be deleted.
Pardon if this has already been discussed.

http://www.yoda.arachsys.com/dk/

That has most of pretty much everything to do with DKG and it's not geocities.

read this and you'll understand why it's probably pointless to back it up:
http://www.archive.org/web/geocities.php

We may save a bit more information but I've looked before and it used to all be there

I really wonder how much space all their saved sites take up ^^

Well, I've tried http://www.geocities.com/dungkeep/links.html with this, it seems that only text information was archived, all download links are dead.
But it's better than nothing at all.

Well, I've tried http://www.geocities.com/dungkeep/links.html with this, it seems that only text information was archived, all download links are dead.
But it's better than nothing at all. That website was build by me.
Ages ago. Well, about 5 years. I lost my password there in around 2004, and never bothered to update for such an old game. But this year I found these forums, having an active community that I never had, I'm becoming active in DK again.

Most levels from that website have a back-up at Keeper.Lubie.org
http://keeper.lubie.org/
Unded can be downloaded there also.
I find keeper.lubie.org the much better version of the website I've build myself. Unfortunately, one geocities dungkeep campaign, from Scandinavia, has no back-up. I retrieved it by mail, after I found a death link to it on the web.

I tried the wayback machine, but they where in maintenance today. Any how, there are some very important files there, because when I was working on that website, Dzjeear would sent me his first Campaign, and I would also upload some great research done by Dzjeear. There is a *.gif file there, made by Dzjeear, that contains all spells by creatures, and the level when they get it. It's rather wide, to wide for a browser and to detailed to resize, so I linked it there. Maybe it's gone. I want that file, because I'm working on levels now; knowing all the spells per level handled by creatures is important. It might still exist, because the wayback machine saves most images, and it's a *.gif.

If any one has or can get this lost Scandinavian Campaign I mentioned, please sent it to Mefistotelis, so he can upload it. It's 18 or 20 levels, as I remember, made in Unded. I don't have a back-up of it.

I have some more levels on CD' s, from the time before Deeper Dungeons and the Editor was produced by Bullfrog, all made in Unded. I'll have a look to debug them in New Adikted, and upload them linked here, or sent them to Mefistotelis. Don't expect to much, because most of these maps are buggy multiplayer campaigns; back than there was no script tutorial. There is also an older version of Unded on my CD's, so buggy, it was impossible for me to make a map with it. The Unded version from Geocities' Dungkeep was a newer version, that I used to make effects in in maps I made, and in order to make maps, that I had to throw away, because they would get screwed up completely after loading them in 3 Editors. The Unded at keeper.lubie is newer as the one on Dungkeep. I wonder where he has got it, because in 2000 the Unded builders where not found on the web, as I remember I would get this software from some one that mailed it to me.

The new Adikted is a compleet new product, although it looks the same from the outside. It can repair bugs. Having had to build maps, where I had to throw half of them away because they would get screwed up by Unded and/or Adikted, the New Adikted is a Milestone to me. I made a map in the New Adikted this year, I just could make the most awe some drawing like graffity in 8 directions on other things than rock. I made an underground swamp, stones flowing in lava, a new Dungeon Heart design.

Very motivating.

I don't think it just the levels because indeed that database holds them all. It also some documentation of statistics used inside the game written out for us. Also the script tutorials and examples.... they all helped me understand DK alot better. It just a shame D:

The first KK site was hosted on Geocities at geocities.com/keeperclan, but we certainly haven't lost any irreplaceable information. Also, I had been working on an outline for a new website about 2 years ago at /keeperklan, but I saved all my code on my PC.

It'd be a nice idea to archive everything there is to know about Dungeon Keeper on one website, so if we could achieve that at KK then that'd be great. I've proven in the past that I'm not up to this challenge alone, so a wiki would be a good start, then we could convert that into proper webpages.

I had for a time planned on Dungeon Keeper Millennium becoming such a storehouse for files and information, but the plans got waylaid at some point :(

Well http://wiki.keeperklan.com/en/Main_Page has reopened, just requires someone to start writing stuff :)

Shall I write some DK1 articles on it?

I think you are referring to the Skirmish levels. I have a copy of them from the "Oetalar" site and a patch file, which may or may not have already been applied to the base file, from "The Ultimate Dungeon Keeper" site. I'm willing to send them to Mefistotelis. What is the best way to do that?

The "Oetalar" site provided the following description:

17 Swedish levels [600 kb]. At least, the site is.
The levels are very nice, so I made a back-up overhere. They are made with UnDEd. You can sell doors, after you smashed them. Unfortunately, there is no copyright info. Because the maps were made with UnDEd, the copyrights are with the maker, not for Bullfrog.

Sidar
