Hey guys,

I've been a long time Dungeon Keeper player, since early childhood it was one of my favourites. As an adult I've been working as a programmer for clients mostly but now on something of my own again and I thought you might like it :) (Actually over on Erfworld I even explain the influences (http://www.erfworld.com/blog/view/45238/formicarium-dwarf-fortress-meets-sim-ant-xkcd-genetics))

I'd really like to know what you specifically think, most people immediately compare us to SimAnt, because they see ants. But the program itself is more like Dwarf Fortress with Ants instead of Dwarfs where Dwarf Fortress was mostly inspired by Dungeon Keeper.

Here's a first screenshot (from the underground management of one's ant hive):

And here's another one of the surface with bugs, beetles, plants and butterflies (everything has attributes and code and reproduces including the plants):

We put all a lot of sweat and sleepless nights into this to make this happen, hope it was worth it :)
