Damn, I'm been DYING to try out some of these characters I have from my book...

Damn it...

I know who to kill, Eartle, Limflu, or Suria... (Since the former two I feel fufilled their purpose, the latter I don't like very much) but even if I do, these two characters can't be used in the RPG!

God moding is completely out of the question.

In order to fully appriciate these characters and to satisfy my desire to use them I would be using their full potential and power... but alas, that would be considered godmodding... *Sniffle*

Well I'll let those two live a little longer, I don't feel a need for Eartle nor Limflu any more. At least it'll be until I've thought of someone new who I feel I need...

Good news Searing, with this realm being the most high tech Realm in rooms, and Northland, Crystalbarrow's only worthy competition, is full of my two creatures, whoever I decide to add will go to Crystalbarrow! :)

FINALLY got Necrotyc into the fray. I'm going to have fun having these two contrasting characters interacting :D

Right behind the secret door would be the perfect place for a hero ambush.

Anybody know what would be a good hero party to have there?

Right behind the secret door would be the perfect place for a hero ambush.

Anybody know what would be a good hero party to have there?

2 Thieves, Levels 2/3
1 Archer, Level 3
3 Dwarfs, all level 1?

Searingflame2
April 10th, 2010, 05:28
It is my personal opinion that it wouldn't be, because the heroes aren't telepathic. They don't know that Christopher is escaping just yet, and so they haven't had the time to prepare an ambush.

That said, I've effectively given Duke quarter of ambushes (because i'm terribad at balancing) so what he says, goes.

(Haven't read recent CB affairs, i'll do so now. Just logged on.)

Evi
April 10th, 2010, 06:08
By the time Val'Kaz and Necrotyc had reached the workshop, they noticed a Black Knight disregard a large portion of caution (zing) and break down the Secret Door.

lol.

Wheres the millions of rabid dwarfs Rob was promised in the tunnel? :D

Searingflame2
April 10th, 2010, 06:11
Not directly behind the secret door, obviously :P

Read the post directly above you in this thread.

Me = terribad at balancing. Me no wantey post ambush sizes.

Damn, I'm impatient as hell.. I wanna kill those two now and make two more! MAOR!!

i need different creatures, I'm not getting much out of these two as they're as developed as I can get them in this world.

I might just put down some strange message getting them to leave or something.

LIMFLU AND EARTLE HAVE BEEN ABDUCTED FROM YOUR DUNGEON BY THE COMMANDO KITTIES!!!

I dunno, probably will snap their necks as soon as I get the other profiles running. I'm looking into Frozengard, it is the only realm that needs me now. :D

I'll bring back Northland when I feel like it. Possibly after Tesonu finishes his fudge cake.

Searingflame2

Hahah, Evi, i love how bestial Rob is. You're taking the "BLACK KNIGHTS HAVE NO SOUL!!!!!!!!!!" approach I see.

please dont think I godmodded guys. Didnt mean to, just wanted the fairy out of the way early on.

Searingflame2
May 26th, 2010, 08:24
Not at all, you're level 4 and the fairy is level 2 and the other 3 heroes are busy. So its logical that she got owned easily, as they're support casters, not brawlers.

Searingflame2
July 16th, 2010, 09:55
Uhm, thats my bad. I made the assumption. After all, she was BURNED TO F***ing DEATH.

I understand that Evi and Obliven deliberately kept her alive, but, year, BURNING TO DEATH isn't something you survive.

Evi
July 16th, 2010, 10:05
Burning to death, yeah you don't survive that.

However, she was encased in a cocoon of webbing. So there is a chance of whoever was in it to live. But, that's not to say that they would get out without injury.

Besides, the Fairy has no wings now. And with her weak body, she is pretty much dead to us.

Searingflame2
July 16th, 2010, 10:36
We will have to say that Ivan's silk is magicall, because webbing is EXTREMELY flammable stuff.

Oh dear, progress has come at such great intervals that I can't quite remember what the threads of fate had planned for Crystalbarrow.

I must speak with the master of time, Duke, and find the thread once more!

(All I remember is something to do with the colour green. Well, no, not really, more than that. But I don't want to give TOO much away!)

Metal Gear Rex
November 8th, 2010, 10:48
Hah, now you have to post with them, Searing! >:3 I love how Ribs gets lost with such simple directions. Clueless indeed :P

It has been so long since there was a post in this one thread... I feel like ragegun now D:

Searingflame2
November 10th, 2010, 13:42
I expect everyone to get my literature reference.

Alternatively, I expect them to get the reference, but not get it (i.e. thinking 'Oh, hey Dreadlords in Warcraft3 say that!') when the Dreadlords are, of course, quoting someone else themselves.

If you didn't get it. Google it.

Metal Gear Rex
November 14th, 2010, 08:26
Well, Val'kaz could torture Ribs with the spell to give him infinite stomach aches... oh but here comes the explination for the pie! Just need one of those two to ask Ribs about said pie. Lol, he must have pissed off Val'kaz so much.

The word of choice for that post is obvious, and yay for double obvious meanings. :B

So do we keep walking down the path like we own it or what? I kinda expected more Heroes to pop up, and without that we can just run to the end... right? (Excuse me if I'm wrong but I haven't read much of Crystalbarrow before Ribs happened)

Either way I'm prepared for Ribs' next post to be non-battle, so I can still post. (Granted I'm not lazy/tired as I'm doing other stuffz)

EDIT:
*pokes at Val'kaz with a stick*

Searingflame2
November 14th, 2010, 08:35
There have been two incidents of combat in what would take a creature 2 minutes to walk down. Yes, you walk down the corridor like you own it.
LIKE YOU OWN IT BIG TIME.

Also, if anyone intends to be the first near the secret door, tell me, because otherwise one of my two creatures will trigger it (simply because I think that's the easiest way to trigger the next event).

Well Ribs didn't specify what kind of weapon. Have Thefsuth make him a sword to fit the Skeleton stereo-type and push him out the door to fight Drell without allowing him to complain. That'll produce some hilarious results :P

Thefsuth is in the Workshop, right? You said he was making a Freeze Trap or something.

Searingflame2
December 12th, 2010, 11:43
I think it might be an idea to post here when you're expecting someone to make a post - that way, we don't have an unspoken silence where everybody is waiting for everybody else to post. That doesn't do anyone any good now, does it?

Let's start, shall I?

I'd currently like everyone to post. If anybody else is waiting on me, fill me in so I can do something to involve your character.

Metal Gear Rex
January 16th, 2011, 15:02
Lol at Rob's response to Ribs :P

Also, do you think webbing Drell's wings is kinda useless? I mean, DK1 Dragons don't use their wings :P besides he'd probably hit his head on the ceiling. But webbing his eyes certainly was a good idea, they don't really have arms either. He's gonna have one hell of a hard time getting that crap off him. Which means that I can have some amusing fun with Ribs... once I get the chance to post that is. (Just got some WftO-related work)

Searingflame2
January 16th, 2011, 15:25
Keeping in mind that the goal with Drell is to delay him, in which case the webbing was nothing but brilliant =P

You forget that he is partially covered with webbing, which is flammable. Should he burn any webbing, it WILL reach to his eyes.

Yes, the scene is plot related. More related than Drell in the training room, in a sense.

Searingflame2
August 29th, 2011, 09:47
I decided a keeper post would be much less relevant than Drell. So everybody, there's some Drell for you.

I'll write something for Vally and Neccy when I'm hit with some sort of artistic flair, either of my own volition or someone else's antics.

EDIT ~ Also, this doesn't have much to do with me personally, but how many demon spawn are there across the lava lake, was it ever specified?

Beep-Veep
August 29th, 2011, 15:01
There is a dire need for a temple near that suspicious lava lake I saw while reading up on all the important info on this RPG. I have the perfect idea for a Hellhound but it firmly states NO for every single one. Or, has it just not been updated, and there can be hellhounds here?

Searingflame2
August 30th, 2011, 14:25
At this stage, a hellhound is indeed out of the question. I will, however, attempt to come up with some kind of logical sequence that'll allow a delightful hound in the land. Keep in mind, however, that we are (theoretically) in the closing scenes of Crystalbarrow, and the realm should be moving on when the current events transpire. That said, that was the idea well over a year ago, so things might've changed. At any rate, it could slide in very nicely with our Drell problem.

On the topic of my post, Duke (if you're reading this), I was thinking maybe overextend just a tad with how well we do in the fight? The plot is poop without us winning, and without the aid of MGR's ribs, we really shan't be winning legitimately.

THAT SAID, we are talking newborns and a mother who has undergone a stressful birth. Perchance we allow combat to reflect that?

Ribs is pretty incompetent. I don't think adding him into the battle would make much of a difference unless you plan on feeding fried bones to the rest of the Creatures in order to grant them a Level Up so that they can defeat the Dragon. Plus the only weapon he has is a broken bow at the moment. Or did Thefsuth fix it? Or perhaps Thefsuth gave him a sword or something? Am I even spelling that name correctly? Either way, I want to actually post with Ribs on Thursday or Friday.

But you have to admit, that would be an interesting way to end The Awakening. Everyone getting fried and cooked in the only active realm left. Would be an ironic twist because in cliched stories, the Bad Guys always lose and the Protagonists usually Win.

I might send reinforcements through the portal. Ithique on a suicide mission.

Mostly because, with Northland being so slow I never managed to do the things with him I wanted to do, then the time passed. He's useless and short on any real narrative possibility. He is also slow, and a boring thug of a character. His only redeeming feature is that he is inordinately tank, and is decent at both melee and range. Since his only excellence is combat, it makes sense that if he is to die it should be in combat. Plus any less an opponent, and the outcome wouldn't be a certainty.

That depends how thing unfold, of course, and how well things go against Drell.

Mothrayas

Drell's a mother? Or did I miss something?

Even if Ribs is incompetent, we're talking babies. They're literally less than an hour old. Frankly, I regret my post last night, as I didn't portray enough ass kicking.

To your question, negative. The dragon facing Lucien, Val'Kaz, Necrotyc and Ribs is Drell's mate and mother of his children.

And yes, interesting. But frankly, I'd rather not lose. *hand contortions*

MeinCookie
August 31st, 2011, 12:06
If you ask nicely, I'm sure they could oblige you with an ass-kicking next post :D.

If you need help you can deploy my second where you want, when you want - just have the Keeper notice him and drop him - but until then he is training.... He has big usefulness gap until he comes into his own, as he isn't your average warlock build (his first spell at level 3 is Heal) and he can't do range. This is to counterbalance his level 4 Teleport.

Also... is Drell's WoP active when frozen? I don't feel safe getting close to him without confirmation, which is why I entered Fet out of the action.

Also, also... I won't be posting, especially with Vermillion, until everyone else around Drell who wants to has - I don't want to trip anybody up. Plus Asifet is just a distraction to everyone atm, away from important events. He is training, but he isn't posting. I dunno how I'm going to do that, but nobody wants to hear that when there are two battles going on. So yeah, advance warning.

Searingflame2
August 31st, 2011, 14:17
Drell can't move his chilled vocal cords enough to activate the magic with his wordies, so WoP is currently disabled. That said, any attacks against him will also attack the ice around him, speeding his ability to cast it once more. I'd suggest that he has just used it twice as well as heal, so he's a little pooped, but he might just have it in him.

Edit: OH SHIZZLE ON A HIZZLE FO NIZZLE.

Making this post removed the autosave of my Larquidos post, which I was working on 2 hours ago.

I believe FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU accurately captures my current mood.

Metal Gear Rex

Updated Ribs' profile, changed his Spell Set with Duke's permission.

Fairly long post, basically going into what Ribs was doing the whole time while everyone else was doing something useful.

I think Ribs is more of a threat to Larquidos than Drell right now. But I do plan on getting Ribs to do something useful against Drell one way or another, depending on how the events roll out.

Gaarrrg. When I made that Asifet's post I accidentally replaced his previous post, so I had to rewrite it from memory . I think I got everything tho, and he didn't interact with anyone.

Enough people have gathered to take on Drell again, and he is frozen, so I'll throw Vermillion into the fray to initiate that... somehow. If he does manage to WoP again, well, Ribs and Slish are somewhat shielded by the door.

My apologies if my post was dull as anything.

This is essentially the post I had lined up last night, but with less fanciful embellishments and particularly more boring, if I do say so myself.

@MGR: I EXPECT you to take artistic liberties with the prowess of a keeper-blood-soaked sword. It has to have some kind of magical property, right?

MeinCookie
September 1st, 2011, 15:08

@MGR: I EXPECT you to take artistic liberties with the prowess of a keeper-blood-soaked sword. It has to have some kind of magical property, right?

Well it might. Real question is if Ribs can fight with it. He doesn't really have the training of fighting with a sword or any kind of melee weapon, being an Archer. But they're newborn Demon Spawns so I'm sure he'll end up killing one of them at the very least.

Hell, I'm actually surprised they're not all dead by now. They're not exactly threatening things. They could even be blind/deaf when they're born, and their claws probably haven't even begun growing. Plus they're probably pretty small if they're newborns, skin is probably soft enough for even Ribs to kill them simply by beating them with the bow. Against two Black Knights, yeah they should be dead by now.

Searingflame2
September 2nd, 2011, 08:40
Whilst from a logic perspective I can absolutely 100% get on board with that, we are trying to keep things balance (edit: d), as they were given as level two demonspawns. Some liberties are fine, but Necrotyc is only level two himself (errr, if I'm recalling correctly. My profile was never very reliable...) so he can't kick too much ass.

Metal Gear Rex
September 2nd, 2011, 08:50
Why are they Level 2 if they're newborns? Were they training in their mother's womb or something? (That'd be a pretty sweet Training Room, can Level grind all day and get free food without ever moving)

Anyways, maybe tomorrow or later tonight will I make a new post with Ribs and have him kill a baby then get sent directly to jail without collecting his 200 Gold.

I haven't been paying attention to the most recent Crystalbarrow posts, but does that mean that this entire time there was something attached to Vermillion's brain that made "him" think "intelligently"? The irony.

MeinCookie
October 13th, 2011, 10:44
He's still nuts... the Voice was only ever the tip of the iceberg =/. That too is ironic now, in fact, because the Voice is probably the one thing which was legitimate and sane to be experiencing. In its own way the Voice was Sanity.

To be honest the Voice was often as much of a hindrance as a help - look at the time it resulted in the destruction of the Northland library. Nonetheless, the Voice's presence did rub off somewhat positively, he does sometimes have good ideas and common-sense legitimately on his own. Self-improvement has always been Vermillion's key theme. As a result, you can be assured that Vermillion's average competency keeps moving forward. By being the semi-competent voice of reason, the Voice was holding his personal progress back, because there was no urgency for improvement. I do have a few other subplots lined up, you know.

Yeah, sticking true to a character's personality can be annoying sometimes.

I forgot about the Library being destroyed. He got thrown in Prison along with Crystice for that, didn't he? Vermillion pick locked the prison door and let he, along with every other prisoner, out and that started the whole Prison battle scene, yes? Afterwards, I believe he was thrown in the Torture Chamber as punishment.

I think I'm starting to recall some of my ideas for a Keeper Post now... not that it matters as I don't have the time to post.

Also, no doubt you're thinking Deus Ex is a very fond friend of mine. He totally is. I rang him last night and he said he might be able to stop by. But his girlfriend, year old planned plot developments, said she'd probably be with him. Though she has had a few piercings recently, so she's not quite the same as I remember her.

I doubt the whirlwind meets the ground? I dunno. Maybe he was fully inside it? Could be possible. Especially if its further out at the back. Did you even say it was present at the back? I didn't ask Vermillion how he did it, dammit! The fire would be coolest at the bottom and at the back, if it struck around the area of his breastplate he wouldn't even notice, and as he dived through he has his helmet and he wouldn't necessarily notice because he already had burns everywhere. Worst comes to worst... it can always be said the Voice compelled him.

Also... long, long post =)

Ribs, before joining the undead, lived his life as an Archer. Most of his friends were Thieves, so he learned the way of the Thief. Although he was generally incompetent, he still was an excellent Archer. Those who knew of his skill considered his eyes to be legendary. Edit: @MGR - Vertical burial plots =P

I'm actually starting to think that the Vampire, from an RPG perspective, is pretty... bleh. He not only requires five dead bodies to be rotting on the Graveyard (preventing multiple people from getting Vampires at once) but he requires 2 Creature Slots, which means less RPing for that person. The Resurrection thing is nice and all but how often are people going to throw their Creatures in such positions where they end up dying like that? It's only useful if they want to send them on a suicide mission or something. Plus with the Level Drop, it probably won't occur very often even if the RP was full of Vampires.

It's ironic. Vampires go from being overpowered to underpowered :P

I recall the Vampire was previously able to resurrect only when at Level 7 and above. If he went back to something like that and had the whole 2 Creature Slot Restriction was removed... I'd bet we'd see a few more Vampires running around.

Duke Ragereaver
January 21st, 2012, 09:17
I think the Vampire requirement of 5 bodies is somewhat misinterprented. It's not that 5 corpses are needed per Vampire, but the accumulation of the mentioned number of corpses that allow Vampires to be picked in the realm. I mean, who is going to keep up how much enemies there are slain and divide that by the number of corpses in the graveyard needed to get a Vampire? It's simply too much work.

By the way, I personally am perfectly content with having 3 Creatures who take up 4 Creature slots. Everyone has 6 Creature slots available at present, so if that issen't enough... I don't know what is.

I thought it was the Keeper's job to keep track of that kind of information. I recall that when I first became Dungeon Keeper, "Killcount" and "Corpses rotting on graveyard" were two things I was supposed to fill out, they weren't things that I added on myself like "Known Enemies". If the Dungeon Keeper keeps track of that information, it's easy for everybody to see. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect that from them/us as it's apart of the responsibility we inherit when we take on the role of Dungeon Keeper. That's how I see it anyways. In Searing and Evi's case though, I could understand if they aren't able to keep up with all of that as they can't even edit the first post to begin with.

By the way, I personally am perfectly content with having 3 Creatures who take up 4 Creature slots. Everyone has 8 Creature slots available at present, so if that issen't enough... I don't know what is.

Well not everybody is the same as you Duke. In my own situation, I'm quite used to managing and using a lot of Characters, it fits my preference. It really keeps things interesting for me, and I'm sure it makes things more interesting for others. I'm also more so motivated to have more characters in order to bring a bit more activity and life to the Realms. With the way things stand, it also isn't too hard to manage larger number of characters as there's only a handful of RPers. I'm sure everybody else has their own reasons and preferences for having either fewer or larger amounts of characters.

The Vampire taking up two slots is rather limiting to those who prefer to have more Characters. You might not be able to see it as well as I can because you seem to feel more comfortable with fewer Creatures. If you're looking for a way to "balance" the Vampire for being able to Resurrect, perhaps you could find some other way. Perhaps he drops two levels instead of one, can only resurrect at a certain high level, maybe he trains slower, or he cannot walk on water. I don't think the 2 slot thing is a good idea. The resurrecting thing is nice but it's really not worth it. People will probably already feel a bit pressured to avoid putting him in danger of dying if they don't like having lower Leveled Units.

't Was originally the idea. But with 3 out of 4 people who were the original roleplayers of the Keepers gone it became increasingly difficult to keep track of stuff. So I let it go, more or less.

What is keeping me from reflecting the statement? The way I see it, the people have more than enough choice to pick a Creature and a large number of them at present. I made it repeatingly clear that I won't allow one-man-armies here who RP all by themselves. And what would happen when one of them gets suddenly inactive or needs to be away for a while? Suddenly managing 6 Creatures seems to be a more time-consuming task than would thought at first. On contary what you might think of the Creature limit rule, it's also designed to keep people from overexerting themselves.

Errr... what makes you think I'm out of touch with the RPG by not thinking about that? The RPG does not always follow the 'rules' set by the games, in the case of Vampires there are some similarities but also some differences. Vampires are immortal when 'dying', ressurecting at the Lair except when fighting against Monks. That's pretty much the universal rule. The difference comes that Vampires in the RPG do not drop levels when dying. Otherwise that would pretty much defeat the purpose of immortality. This is perhaps something I should be more clear on, or contradicted myself at one point earlier on. But this is where we stand now.

Have you considered the effects of boosting vampire's to elite status? That becomes a real boon because you can't drop beneath 1E, which is effectively 11 which means all powers are forever unlocked, even if he dies. Furthermore he can resurrect infinitely, and never drop below that point. I WANT.

Consider Red Crystal Islands. It is pretty simple to add a brief summary to the bottom of Keeper Posts. We do it for creatures, why not for realms? That is essentially what a Keeper Post is. In future I think it'll make things much easier, particularly as relevants stats are easily updated on a postly basis.

EDIT ~ Vampire's don't drop in levels? I think several of my creature might die of shock... mwa ha ha ha ha. Or not. I like them to much. And I missed Buzzard terribly after I ended his life in a brutal fashion. I vow to get another firefly one day.

On contary what you might think of the Creature limit rule, it's also designed to keep people from overexerting themselves.

I'm starting to think that there's a bit of confusion on both of our interpretations of the term "one-man-army" in this sense. Do you mean a single Creature taking on overwhelming enemy forces and overcoming them or do you mean a single person RPing as several Creatures and is basically RPing with himself among those different Creatures?

If the former, then I will say that that doesn't really happen normally unless we have some kind of godmodder. It's usually up to the Keeper to decide what kind of enemies his Creatures can face. Normally he has to select an enemy that they can handle without dying, otherwise it becomes unfair as they either have to godmod a bit to win or they have to sacrifice their Creatures. And obviously, neither of those two is desired by the RPers or anyone else.

If the latter, then I will say that that really can't be helped if it ever happens. We only have a handful of RPers to begin with. It can be difficult to have everyone spread their characters around to the different realms, especially if they don't want to. Not every character works well in every Realm, I noticed. Though take note that I'm not asking you to expand the 6 Creature Limit, and that I understand why it is there. (The only thing I would ask you to do concerning the Creature Limit would be to bring back the Creature Reserves so that we wouldn't be forced to kill off a Character if we ever wanted to give them a break and swap them out with someone else)

Frozengard is almost suffering from such a fate, but I think Frozengard's only real problem is the fact that Evi's quite busy at the moment and can't devote as much time to his role. I honestly don't think Frozengard having fewer Creatures isn't a real problem as it creates a very friendly and unique environment compared to the other Realms, as everybody knows everybody. I think this also reflects well on Mikaelios' character, but I think I'm going too far on this subject.

To be perfectly honest, I don't understand how the problems you stated above directly or indirectly tie to the Vampire taking up two slots. The Two Slot restriction doesn't really effect those things at all. All it really does is discourage people from creating Vampire characters as they don't want to sacrifice potentially good character ideas. (Why should they be forced to anyways?) On the other hand, removing that restriction doesn't add any problems at all either.

This is perhaps something I should be more clear on, or contradicted myself at one point earlier on. But this is where we stand now.

I do believe you may have stated it once before that they drop a level in order to follow the original games. Either that, or perhaps it was the fact that I don't ever recall you saying that they don't drop levels, which would then bring a lot of confusion as that can be interpreted differently.

Anyways, I actually think that's a very bad idea to make Vampires completely immortal aside from when fighting Monks. This allows RPers to create some kind of "one-man-army" without technically Godmodding. Vampire attacks the enemies, he dies, resurrects, and repeats until there's no more enemies. The weakness against Monks isn't as big of a weakness as you may think. The Monk is only a single species, and a very situational one at that. Being very holy, you only would encounter one at certain points of the Realm, if ever. They're not like Dwarves or Archers where you can expect to see them in at least every other Hero Party.

It also somewhat forces RPers to utilize the immortality factor because it otherwise makes the situation very questionable as there's tons of possibilities of actions that the Vampire can do, being as resurrecting himself holds no kind of penalty. "Why didn't he try and tackle the enemy into the lava so that he could be killed? It's not like he has to fear death from the lava or anything like that!"

Honestly, I think there should be some kind of Level Drop or something. I don't think the infinite immortality is something people want to use all the time in trade for having one less Character that could potentially make the Realm far more exciting and interesting. I know for certain that it doesn't help out Awakening's current situation.

Keep in mind that we aren't creating these characters so that we can beat the realm and "win". We're creating these characters because it's fun to RP with them. Making the Vampire, or any Creature species, require more than one slot in order to "balance" the fact that they're very powerful doesn't really work out well for that very reason. For anyone who uses them, it means one less potential character to have fun with.

I'd imagine it'd be very easy to make some kind of exception to that rule. Would be a bit stupid otherwise to be perfectly honest and would further the potential brokenness of the Vampire in their current state.

I did actually consider mentioning your situation at Red Crystal Islands. However, why I decided against that was because your situation is a bit different. Thanks to nijuni, you already had all the information you needed and you simply continued from where he left off. However, I don't think that Lquiz or DragonsLover were very good about recording the information. I wish DL was better about informing us what the question mark on the map stood for. Would have saved me from the trouble of doing a massive search through Frozengard.

Anyways, that was my reason for not mentioning you in the previous post. But even I would agree that I don't think that was a very good reason. Evi and Searing probably should include that information in their Keeper Posts from now on. But to be honest, I see it more likely that Evi will be the one to do it rather than Searing. From when I previously spoke to him, it seems as if Evi had kept a record of Frozengard, so he should be capable of doing a summary.

Searing... however... well, let's just say that I look at Crystalbarrow as being a big mess when it comes to keeping records.

You should have saved your breath (or time). I'm not gonna read all of that when there is no way I'm going to change my mind and divert from the current course in this particular case. But feel free to make a a post about it in the Central Discussion Thread or even better, a new thread if you really insist making a discussion of it. But I'm done here.

Let us continue to Crystalbarrow related stuff here.

I guess I should inform you why it's bad. It's shameful actually. It means that in his entire career as a Creature, in a world where battles between the forces of Good and Evil occur daily, the most threatening thing he's killed is a chicken. It's really sad that that's all he can do.

It's an idiom.

would not be seen dead (doing something) and would not be caught dead (doing something)

would not do something under any circumstances.
--I wouldn't be seen dead going out with Bruno! Martha would not be caught dead going into a place like that.

Not true. The loss of a Level Penalty only applies if they follow the Keeper to the next realm. I've edited it to fix this, however. I've also already locked the thread.
