I am at final mission and I already officially made it cuz i can press space to end it but i want to finish the enemy still..

I drop all creatures use flag then use flag behind magic door of enemy.

The creatures attack for like 1 min then the game always crashses!!!

Is it cuz I have like 40 creatures?

Too many things, most likely.

Since you've already completed the game, it seems like Blue must have been busy getting traps and doors. He'll continue to build more and more Workshops.

Then you confront him in battle...

All the spells being cast (Even melee counts) are things. The Workshop Trap boxes are things, and Traps placed are also things. All these things are of a limit of like 1024 or something like that.

On my computer, when I hit the max limit of creatures or things, they simply don't appear. But I know that for others it makes the game crash. Unfortunately, you have the latter situation it seems.

At the part with two magic doors next to each other, you can possess an Imp and dig down the earth tile in between them, destroying both instantly.

If you're playing FX, I'd be curious to look at the log when the crash occurs as it's not normal that having 40 creatures would cause a crash when attacking the enemy doors. Just curious, how many Imps did you have?

And MGR, Melee doesn't count as a thing. Only "sprites" are things and some spells and attacks use more things than others.

Are you sure?

Melee counts as a shot, and I've made real buggy maps that have too many things. Not even melee was working, how do you explain that? Not to mention I recall mefisto saying something like that.

Probably, I didn't test it myself.

Funny. In some levels (mostly with 4 Keepers) and a mass of creatures - things did not appear, too. But after a while the game could crash. Did not happened for a while, but it happend (even with things disappearing).

By the way, I played the last level few weeks ago - after my DK addiction came back after time :D And I found this level not bugged. I could destroy the avatar and later the enemy Keeper.

I made some recent modifications to my demon spawns (I was bored), they shoot lightning, drain health, evolve from imps that come free, and so on. Anyways I had about 150 of them and sent them to attack (slaughter really). When they met the first enemy, they just stood there, all of them, swinging their little paws. Well, thought I, I guess range is out. Then some of them got close and meleed. The game froze, and in a few moments, crashed. So, yes, I think melee counts as this highly scientific term of "thing".
