This is a mod/unofficial patch for Dungeon Keeper 2 version 1.7.
It has the better AI for enemy Keepers from DK2 official patch version 1.51 and features from the GOG patch 1.7 version; the user can choose between the official patch 1.51 DKII.exe or the GOG DKII-dx.exe to get the best benefits from them.
To install:
1. Run the self extracting 7-zip executable
2. In the text box type the location of where you installed Dungeon Keeper 2 (ex. C:/GOG Games/Dungeon Keeper 2)
3. Click Ok and say Yes to All if it asks to overwrite the files.
4. Run either DKII.exe for singleplayer or DKII-DX.exe for multiplayer and enjoy!

i installed it, i had gog 1.7, but when i start DKII.exe, it doent work  |

I downloaded this and followed the directions but when I click DK2, DK2-DX, or the GoG provided shortcut the game crashes to desktop after skipping the cinematic. I'll see the load screen for DK2 as it attempts to load the title screen and then crash with no error. |
