    Keeper Tesonu

While Tesonu waited for his volunteer escorts to present themselves to his Heart Chamber, Yggdrali appeared before him with with different intentions.

"Keeper Tesonu... I am actually not here for the escort. I wish to be dismissed from the dungeon. I require a brief... vacation of sorts to do something personal. I will be back when I can."

    "Very well, Yggdrali."

Once Tesonu recieved a sizable amount of volunteers with no more of his Creatures appearing to desire fulfilling the task, he began to judge the escort party to see if it could pull through. Most of the volunteers were fairly experienced in battle, Tesonu knew. The only one Creature lacking in this happened to be the one Tesonu liked the least, the Ghost, Mesa. Actually, Tesonu outright disliked Mesa due to his past experience with the Creature. It was fortunate that he was the weakest, as that meant he was the one most likely to die. Tesonu would be pleased if the damn Ghost wouldn't come back this time.

Analyzing the volunteers again, Tesonu noticed a lack of proper support, which could be a concern. The only one of the group who could be classified as a support happened to be... Mesa. Aside from the fact that he, as the weakest link, would provide subpar support, it was disappointing to know that he would be at the rear constantly and therefore less prone to die. Tesonu would just have to deal with it, he supposed. Could always send the Ghost on a scouting mission later. Ghosts made good scouts usually so it wasn't an unreasonable or unexpected request. Possibly to explore Harpeia's dungeon, where he would be most likely to die due to the unfamiliarity of the place and even if he did return, he would then provide useful information.

Tesonu put the thought aside for the moment to properly address the Creatures.

"Now then, it looks like you six will be the ones to escort my Imps to the gold mines and back. There will be ten Imps, though there's a fair amount of Gold there so it will likely take two trips. For those of you who stayed behind during the invasion on Hannibal's dungeon, you would know that when the Tentacles invaded, I split their forces in half by casting Cave-In. Though we took out their chief and the stronger half of their forces, the other half still remains. You are to kill any you encounter. The remaining group seems slightly confused, as they've scattered their forces quite a bit. There's a small group of them waiting outside the entrance of the Trap Room, where the ceiling has caved. They're obviously waiting in ambush and, unfortunately for them, they seem to think they have an element of surprise for whoever ventures out. You'll have to deal with them as soon as my Imps open a path."

"There are some other Tentacles spread out beyond there. There's a few in the long hallway just outside the Trap Room that leads west, which is the path you'll be taking. Most of the Tentacles, however, are south of the Trap Room, on the borders between my land and Hannibal's. You are to leave those Tentacles undisturbed. They could very well provide a use to me by fighting with Hannibal."

"As for your positions, I want Nalina to take the vanguard. Tali and Diana, you two should stay by Nalina's side. Fortise and Grith, you two should stay behind them and provide some fire support before initiating in melee combat. Mesa, you're to remain on permanent fire support. I want you all to remain very close together, even in battle. That is all. If you're with no questions, then you're dismissed."

As the last poor sacrifice sank into the liquid ooze of the Temple. The ground shook, a low hum filled the chambers growing increasingly louder. Suddenly an otherworldly voice boomed in the Temple.

"THE GODS ARE PLEASED WITH YOUR SACRIFICE!"

Slowly the motion in the unholy water of the Temple and the hum in the room started to settle. Then the water to bubbled violently, the humming in the room growing loud again.

"THE GODS HAVE BLESSED YOU FOR YOUR SACRIFICES!"

Slowly something dark started to appear in the waters. The form of a human male started to come out of the water. The creature's skin was as dark as ebony. With wings that were spread wide as its chest came out of the water, its wings were as black as the Dark Gods themselves, with spiky feathers that seem to move on their own, as if made of shadow. In this creature's hands were two long, stick-like, transparent shadows that also seemed to move on their own around the edges of these weapons. As he finally fully exited the waters of the Temple, he slowly started to drift over to the edge of the water and landed on solid ground. At that moment the bubbling and humming of the Temple finally slowed and stopped. He finally opened his red eyes and looked around the Temple, observing the area he entered from and listened to the hum of the Temple as it faded. His weapons started to fade away as he relaxed into a passive mood, and pulled in his wing to a more comfortable position. His wings shrank in an unnatural way in which they appeared smaller than they truly were just a moment ago into just small puffs on his back. He immediately heard talking coming from outside the Temple and waited and listened.

"...on the borders between my land and Hannibal's.

    He thought to himself

"I take it the one giving orders is the Keeper called Tesonu.....Sounds like he is sending out a group to do something........it is a shame...."

He let the thought slide from his mind, it didn't concern himself what was happening, nor did he truly care. He came solely because he heard about this Keeper and was told that he was strong. He was merely curious and if it turned out to be false, he would enter the Temple waters again and return to his true masters, the Dark Gods. If he truly was strong, he would continue serving him. And with that thought, he opened the door leading to the room ahead, the Dungeon Heart, the life of the Keeper. He walked up to it and spoke in his otherworldly voice.

"You are Keeper Tesonu correct?........The Dark Gods told me a bit about you before I came into your dungeon..........Told me you were powerful and worthy of me."

"I am Umbra............one of the rare and secretive race of higher beings called the Dusk Angels.......You know of our younger cousins the Dark Angels....I will gladly serve you if you are indeed powerful like my Masters say, but make no mistake....they are my true Masters, as long as their blessing is on you, I will serve you relentlessly and without question.........But if they or I deem you unworthy, I will not hesitate to leave and return to my Masters.........They deemed you worthy of me instead of a Dark Angel which speaks wonders.....last time one of my kind have helped a Keeper was many centuries ago.....I await to see the accomplishments under your command...."

And with that, Umbra left the Dungeon Heart chamber and headed towards the Lair. He looked at some of the creatures this Keeper had under his rule....Goblins, Salamanders, a Fly and some Spiders things. He wondered to himself how this was a powerful Keeper when he had such pitiful lesser beings! He thought if perhaps his Masters could have made a mistake? Though they rarely do, even the Dark Gods make errors once every now and then. He would not question them, he would stay here for a while. He noticed a Black Knight's lair and a few Vampire coffins, one that was being used. He also noticed two sleeping Dark Angels which made him smile slightly, a rare sight, he would enjoy having company with relatives of himself. He also saw Hero forces within the Dungeon, corrupted Heroes is a crowning achievement worthy of praise. He thought that maybe this Keeper truly was something special to attract such powerful creatures to his side. He recalled noticing a Black Knight leaving the Heart chamber as he entered. He prayed for forgiveness to his Masters for having doubt so soon. He found some empty space in one of the corners and started to build his lair. He found some bones and using some dark magic, melded them into the rough shape of a bed, he then noticed there was nothing soft and decided to pluck feathers from his wings to use, it didn't really bother him as he took more of his feathers out, since they regrew almost immediately. He inspected the bed, it was crude, but it would serve its purpose so he wasn't complaining. He went to exit the Lair, he didn't care to speak to any of the creatures in here, save the Vampire, or the Dark Angels, but they were asleep.

Umbra headed to the Hatchery to get something to eat while he decided to either research or train. He grabbed a chicken and bit into its neck, sucking the essence out of it there was nothing left. He grabbed another chicken and after absorbing it, was content and decided to walk to the Training Room. As he got there, he noticed some other creatures here as well. What stuck out was the Horned Reaper. He smiled then he summoned forth his blades, Shadow, and proceeded to train. He wanted to get his mortal body to its strongest as fast as he could, and that is what he planned on doing.

    Clarissa
    Do-It-Yourself

Quickly waking up, Clarissa sat on her bed a few moments, testing her healed leg to see if it really was completely healed. Indeed it was.

Well, that's good. Alright, let's get some training done.

The Guard put on her helmet and grabbed her spear, quickly marching toward the exit. Before she left the Lair, Clarissa looked back at Tetryos, who was still sleeping soundly. He looked much healthier than he did before. Clarissa smiled to herself and walked quickly to the Training Room, proceeding to the opposite end of the room, beating up the Training Dummies found there.

    Maiden of the Nest
    Chandra
    The Banishing Priestess

Chandra slowly awoke from her sleep, and stretched her legs as she stepped off her lair.

    Ah, that helped nicely.

The Maiden picked up her Staff, which sensed her presence and glowed in response to it. Chandra waved it through the air in front of her, creating a shower of blue-green sparkles. She smiled to herself, and glanced around the Lair. There were still several creatures in there that were recovering. Chandra noted that the Guard she had healed earlier, Clarissa, had already left, as well as the Goblin and Demon Spawn she healed. The Lair was a truly wonderful room, Chandra thought. Such brilliant healing magic.

Then Chandra spotted the Vampire lairs, and felt herself take a couple of steps back. Apart from fighting, there was nothing she disliked more than the Undead. If it were up to her, she would happily banish all of them from this plane of existence.

Hmm, I remember that there was a spell of some sort to deal with them... of course, Shine! Now, how was it cast...? Hm, I can't remember. Well, I suppose I'll just have to try some things out.

Chandra steered clear of the Vampire lairs, particularly the occupied one, and headed to the Training Room, picking up a chicken on the way there. When she got there, she noted another Vampire.

    Ugh.

The Maiden walked to the far end of the room, where Clarissa was training too. Chandra waved to her.

"Hey! How are you feeling? I'm glad to see your leg is all healed."

Chandra grinned, and turned to a Dummy. She began to test various combinations of spell casting techniques, hoping she would accidentally stumble upon the right combination for Shine.

Umbra, reaching his limit, withdrew his blades and stood still for a moment thinking. He was a bit annoyed at how his mortal body has already reached its limit, he remembers with his Masters how he could train for days or even weeks at a time with no effort or strain on his body. He figured that it must have been easy then when he was already at his perfect form, also his Masters must have no doubt played a factor. It mattered not anymore, he knew with time, he could reach that point again.

As he walked out of the Training Room to the Hatchery, he tried to see if he could use his Flight ability. He tried flapping his wings for several moments, even being able to get off the ground momentarily before landing again. He was pleased with his training and almost being strong enough to fly again, something that truly is something special since so few have such an ability, and even fewer where it is natural instead of some spell. He entered the Hatchery and consumed two Chickens. He wished there was something better that he could absorb so he didn't have to come here often. Umbra wondered if Tesonu would mind if a prisoner or fresh addition to the dungeon were to vanish. He remembered how in the past he did such with a Salamander and even a mighty Dragon. The Dragon was truly delicious and kept him sated for roughly two weeks, which does wonders when you no longer had to feed for that time and rarely had to sleep.

"I will ask Tesonu in the future once he saw the value in me, surely he wouldn't mind such from time to time and not to mention notice a difference in my abilities in that time"

Umbra grabbed one more chicken by the throat and walked to the Lair, he watch as the chicken screeched and wiggled, trying to get itself free from his grasp. He entered the Lair and went to his bed and still looked like the Dark Angels and Vampire were still asleep. His thoughts were interrupted when the chicken pecked his hand, he looked down at the chicken and slowly squeezed his hand and enjoyed the feel of its neck slowly snapping and its life leaving its body as it twitched. Ohh how Umbra enjoyed the finer events in life, he made a mental note to head over to the Torture Chamber and have some fun with one of the victims, perhaps even get that meal he craved. He no longer wanted the dead chicken, and tossed it over to the Vampire in the coffin. Whoever he or she was, would perhaps enjoy a nice snack when they woke up.

With that thought he got into his bed and crossed his legs and curled up into a ball, he spread his wings out and surrounded himself with them, he was warm and his wings drowned out most of the noise on the outside and drifted off into a slumber.

    Umbra Summary
    Health: 100%
    Level: 1
    Experience: 10/15
    Gold: 0
    Location: Lair
    Status: Sleeping
    Efficiency: 100%

Summary: Umbra finished training and tried to fly, failed. Then went to the Hatchery to eat, brought a chicken back to his Lair, killed it and gave it to the Vampire before drifting off to sleep.

    Terrence

The grand abyss of the Portal hummed to life as another creature approached the threshold of Tesonu's dungeon. A poof of water vapour came out of the Portal, crystallizing as it hit the icy atmosphere, and out jumped a green creature.

A TENTACLE HAS ENTERED YOUR DUNGEON.

I return. Ah, how I missed this place.

The Tentacle looks around for a brief moment, before crawling his way to the Heart Chamber. He stood before the Heart in awe; it was such an interesting phenomenon. Never before had he seen a live one, only the wrecks that his brethren had destroyed. The creature bowed it's head.

"Greetings, Keeper Tesonu. I am Terrence, a former member of this land's Tentacle Tribe. I come to you to aid you, to help you clear this realm of Hero influence. I tried to get my kin to do the same, but they never listened. Tarku banished me when I tried to gain support for your cause. He will pay for his blindness, I'm sure."

Terrence looked up at the Heart again.

"I must add that, if required, I will not hesitate to kill my own kin. All I wish for is a peaceful Northland, and their aggression towards you is unacceptable."

The Tentacle bows again, and turns to leave the Chamber. He quickly crawls into the Lair, making his lair out of the ice crystals that layered the walls. It was... comfortable enough, but not perfect. Terrence then crawled to the Training Room. He needed to get in touch with the realm's nature again, especially after having been gone for a while, and the best way was to train up.

I certainly hope that my kin see reason.

Yalniai's eyes slowly cracked open. She was in a daze at first, though it was very brief as she was quickly waking up. Her eyes wandered about slowly, but she was still able to identify her location not before long. She was laying on her Lair, her body feeling slightly sore. Other than her soreness, it felt nice to be in the Lair. It was so quiet and warm, which felt very refreshing and different to what she was getting used to while in Northland. Tesonu had so many Creatures and such a large dungeon that everything was so busy and active. She really felt it when she was taking part in the invasion on Hannibal. It was nice to take a break from all that. Yalni preferred being in a smaller sized group as it was so much easier to familiarize herself with others and be more personal.

Suddenly Yalni felt something crawling in her hair. It tickled a bit, actually, and suddenly her mind flashed back to the moment before she lost consciousness. She remembered what happened, and so she abruptly turned her head about to try and find her sister. She barely had any time to look before she found a pair of dark eyes staring back at her. Her heart seemed to skip a beat as she breathed out the name, "Zelni..." A sly smile formed on Zelni's lips as she opened them to speak, "Hello there, my cute, little sister." It was then that Yalni truly regained her awareness. She had not been merely sleeping on her shared bed, but was actually sleeping on her sister. Zelni's robes were so soft and smooth that, while in her earlier daze, Yalni couldn't tell the difference. It came to such a surprise as not too long ago, it was Yalni who carried her older sister's unconscious body.

Staring at Zelniana, seeing her alive and well, made Yalni feel so very emotional. She wasted no more time and threw her arms around her sister, paying absolutely no heed to her body's current state. It hurt a bit to move so suddenly and quickly, but Yalni didn't care. No words could express how happy she was to see Zelni, "Oh Zelni! I'm so happy to see you!" The Dark Angel didn't break her smile as she took hold over her younger sister, "Really? That comes as a surprise." Yalni's smile brightened further as she closed her eyes and rested her head against her sister, "I love you so much." "Oh, Yalni..." she heard her sister whisper almost seductively in response.

Suddenly Yalni felt a pair of legs slowly but smoothly wrap themselves around her's. Zelni placed her head on Yalni's as she became more... embracive. Yalni dared look up at her sister with a puzzled expression as she asked, "Zelni... what are you doing?" Zelniana's eyes sparkled as she looked into Yalniai's, a blissful smile spreading upon her face. One hand began to slide uncomfortably down Yalni's back as she cooed, "You love me, don't you? I think it's time we take things to the next level and finally make love." Yalni's eyes widened as she suddenly pushed herself away from her sister in disgust, "Ugh, ew! I take that back! Zelni, I hate you!"

Despite her gesture, Yalniai did not take her eyes off of her sister. Zelniana retained a small, sweet smile. It wasn't the one she had a moment earlier, one that completed the act of attempting to seduce the Holy Angel. It was simple and pure, something very unlike Zelni. But it still retained a powerful element of happiness. Looking into it, simply taking in the sight of her sister, caused Yalni's vision to blur as her cheeks were made wet, "When I saw you... on the ground... and that spear in you... I thought you were gone... I've never been so scared..." Pride began to corrupt the Dark Angel's smile, "Oh come now, sweet sister. You could never be so lucky to get rid of me." A bittersweet smile formed on Yalniai's face as she softly whispered back, "Zelniana... I was so worried..."

Yalniai was caught off guard when she saw a tear roll down Zelniana's cheek as well, causing her to suddenly realize why. She spoke up excitedly, "Wait a minute... You thought I was gone, too? You must have seen those Guards and thought something awful happened to me!" "I have no idea what you're talking about," Zelniana replied simply. "You were worried about me, too, huh?" Yalniai asked, unable to restrain herself. "No I wasn't," Zelniana answered, capable of retaining a calm tone. "You're crying!" Yalni pointed out. "Shut up," Zelni told her. Yalni couldn't hold herself back anymore and threw her arms around Zelni again, "Oh Zelni, I love you too! I'm not going to let you go because I know you want me here! You can't deny that!" "Are you... sure about that?" Zelni asked, a surprising amount of uncertainty in her voice. Yalni nodded her head in response.

Not long after, she felt something tickling her hair again. It was Zelni, poking her a slight bit. Yalni knew what she was doing. She was trying to annoy her, but she was not going to let Zelni succeed. Yalni tightened her grip as she rested her head on Zelni once more. Zelni began to poke the Holy Angel's sides. Yalni continued to cling. She felt the Dark Angel's hands over her breasts. It was horribly inappropriate, and that was why Zelni enjoyed doing it. It was one of the easiest ways to get on her sister's nerves. But not this time. Then Zelni pinched her nipple. That's when Yalni bit Zelni's finger.

"Ow, you bit me!" Zelni complained, "I didn't know you were actually into that!" Yalniai couldn't help but laugh, "You deserved it!" "I'm beautiful and delicate, I can't tolerate such brutality. I'm not a sturdy, ugly Orc like yourself," Zelni retaliated, regaining her composure. Keeping up with Zelni's sense of playfulness, Yalni replied with a sweet look, "I thought I was your cute, little sister?" "Not when you bite me, you beast!" A devilish smile suddenly appeared on Zelni's face, "When I asked if you wanted to make love, this is not what I had in mind." "Do you want me to bite you again?" Yalni asked in a fairly serious tone. Zelni was able to retain her smile, "Only if you're gentle." "I don't think so," Yalni smiled back, hers being much simpler in its playful nature. Zelni replied by sticking out her tongue.

The two sisters remained quiet for a moment, allowing Yalni to have a brief moment of peace as she rested against her sister, who seemed to still not mind the Holy Angel laying on top of her. The two Angels looked ready to return to a blissful sleep, though neither of them actually intended such as they both wanted to return to perform the usual dungeon activity. Still, they shared the mutual understanding and desire of having a peaceful moment with the other. Yalniai, especially, was the one who wanted to hold onto her sister while she still could. She knew it was essentially her only opportunity to share a quiet and simple moment of sisterly love. Thinking about it, she wasn't quite sure if she truly hated or truly loved the way Zelniana usually 'played' with her. It certainly stirred an interesting mix of emotions, that was for sure.

Yalniai finally broke away from Zelni, rolling off her sister as she returned to her own side of the bed. "Finally," Zelniana spoke up, following it up with a sigh of relief, "You may be cute and small but you're still too heavy to be laying on me for so long." Yalniai smiled as she tried to spring at the opportunity, "Oh, so I am your cute, little sister after all, huh?" A familiar smirk appeared on Zelni's face, making her sister feel a bit uncomfortable as to what she was about to say, "Now Yalni, if you could take a moment to stop flirting with me..." Yalni simply gasped, "If anyone, you're the one starting any flirting going on!" Zelni's smirk suddenly grew wider, "What was all this 'I love you' business earlier? What about that bite? Rough and unpleasant as it may have been, it was clearly intended as some kind of love bite." Yalniai frowned and crossed her arms in frustration, regretting her earlier idea of attempting to 'spring at the opportunity'. She was clearly not her sister and did not know how to twist words or events in the same fashion, or even get the same satisfaction out of doing so.

Zelni began to poke at Yalni's cheeks, "Oh lighten up. Surely you would have gotten used to the fact that I'm simply better than you in every way by now." Yalni replied by attempting to bite Zelni's finger again, something she anticipated as she immediately retracted her finger, allowing Yalni to catch only air. Yalni gasped again at her loss while Zelni grinned in triumph. Yalni glared at her sister as she vocally replied, "You are not!" "You want to try me?" Zelni asked with a devlish grin, "Better researcher, better at magic, more intellectual, more beautiful... I'd surpass you in melee fighting and manufacturing as well if I so desired, but such roughness is beneath me, which is why you specialize in it! I even continue to wake up every morning earlier than you, one contest you've never beaten me in!"

Yalni was lost for words. Mention of that one competition at the end completely threw her off. It was something they started as children, and something she's never been able to finish. She finally was able to answer, "This time doesn't count! I was injured and-" "Oh? And what about me?" Zelniana interrupted, "I would think my condition was worse than yours, and I still was able to get up sooner! I think you're just lazy, honestly!" Yalniai gasped a third time, "I am not!" "Then get up and fix my staff!" Zelni commanded. Yalni blinked, her facial expression becoming more neutral as confusion overtook it, "You're... what...?" "My staff, you dumb cutie," Zelni answered as she presented a staff that had been nearly broken in half with the ruby at the end being heavily cracked, "I broke it saving your worthless wings, remember?" "O-Oh... right..." Yalni sighed as she recalled the moment Zelni referred to.

"Alright, now get up and fix it!" Zelni commanded again as she forced the staff in Yalni's hands. Yalni frowned a bit in response as she reluctantly accepted it, "Alright, fine." "Have fun," Zelniana replied before she suddenly kicked her sister off the bed. Yalni rolled off and landed on the floor of the Lair, face first. She lifted her head and voiced her frustration, "O-Ow... h-hey! Zelni, that hurt! I'm still a bit sore!" Zelni smiled to herself as she replied, "Then get up and start stretching. Jeez, Yalni, no need to complain so much." Yalni was lost for words again, but was finally able to make answer, "That does it, I'm just going to go leave and fix your stupid staff!" The Holy Angel angrily walked out of the Lair as Zelni called back towards her, "That's a good girl!"

Once Yalniai was out of the picture, Zelniana rolled out of the bed herself, landing much more gracefully than her sister. She stood up and stretched a bit as she spoke to herself, "Now then, time to settle this Vampire business." The Dark Angel walked over to one of the Lair's two Vampire coffins as she folded her wings against her back. Unlike a certain Black Knight she saw earlier, she knew which coffin to head towards and was generally much quieter about her approach. Then again, anyone trying to sleep probably gave up all hope on it with her lovely little discussion with Yalniai.

Arriving at the Vampire coffin not long after she set off, Zelniana began to remove the lid. She was slow and cautious in the process, partly because she wanted to remain quiet, but also because she didn't have the strength to really force it open either. Once she completed the slightly tiring task, the Dark Angel stared into the coffin towards the sleeping, lonely-looking Vampire girl known as Valira. Zelniana liked to call her a girl because she certainly looked youthful, but she knew the reality of the situation that the Vampire could possibly be as old as Tesonu.

Zelniana took in a deep breath as she began to remind herself exactly what she was to do. Her loving moment with Yalniai earlier, sweet as it was, sidetracked her and caused her to forget her earlier planning. She decided to start off with something simple, as she laid a gentle hand upon the Vampire and began to release a speck of shadow magic. Just as before, her magic was 'sucked' into some kind of void. The Vampire was absorbing her shadow magic, Zelni knew that much. But she couldn't really feel it, which was the odd part. She should be able to feel the Vampire take away that speck of magic, yet instead she felt like she stepped into nothingness. It was like she entered a world that was void of any feeling at all. It was really bizarre.

Zelni wasn't the most familiar with Vampires or their magic but she knew enough to know that this is not what should be happening at all. Even the Undead had to feel something as they would otherwise completely lack any sense of awareness. The fact that this Vampire seemed to be in some kind of world devoid of feeling and such, combined with the way she acted earlier with her tone of voice and complete lack of reaction to the way Zelni touched her really said a lot. Looking back, Zelni recalled that the Vampire outright confirmed that she felt nothing. She really had to wonder how Valira got around if she was supposedly lacking any sense of awareness as Zelni theorized. She definitely had to take some time to stu- "What are you doing?"

Zelniana paused for a moment before looking over to her left, finding Yalniai standing right there. Thinking fast, she replied, "What am I doing? What are you doing? I thought I sent you away to fix my staff, which is broken because of you!" "Don't try that with me! I went to see what you were doing if you were just laying in the Lair! Now what were you doing to that poor Vampire girl from before?" Yalni questioned in a more serious tone. Zelni simply shrugged as she began to pull the coffin lid back on, "Looking for a replacement sister, of course. One that isn't so disobedient and more willing to return a favor." Yalni crossed her arms in disapproval, "I'm not falling for that, either!" Zelni smirked, "Come now, Yalni. I hope you don't think you're the only one around here that can pass as a cute little sister of mine." "But I-" Yalni paused, clearly struggling to find the proper response. Zelni shrugged again as she finished closing the coffin, "I think it's time you stop stalling and go fix my staff. I'm going to be busy in the Library if you have any questions on the details of its design."

The Holy Angel was lost for words as she was pushed along by Zelni's massive wings, pointing her towards the entrance of the Lair. Not wanting to get lost in yet another conversation with her older sister, Yalniai reluctantly decided to drop the questioning for the time being. At her sister's urging, she left the Lair and departed for the Workshop, where she immediately began to fix Zelni's staff. Her mind, however, stayed back in the Lair as she tried to figure out exactly what Zelni was doing to the Vampire. Yalni recalled what Zelni said before about the Vampire's oddity. She wondered if there was more that her sister wasn't telling her, something Zelni herself was trying to figure out. Either way, that was no excuse to test magic on the poor girl like some kind of experiment!

Zelniana, meanwhile, entered the Library and began browsing through the various shelves for several books. She wanted to do research of all kinds, so she collected a variety of books. Actually, there was only one main subject she was interested in, and that was the cause for books on Vampires and the Graveyard. However, she had to collect a few other books that were relevant to Tesonu's current research orders if only to appease him enough to be granted the freedom to perform her own research. A quick look at a fellow researcher's book gave her the information she needed to collect the right books. Zelniana was very skilled at reading and multi-tasking, so she would have little difficulty splitting her attention between a couple books at a time.

    Tetryos
    Steadfast

Quite stiff, Tetryos awoke. He felt a lot more alive than before, and he could finally move himself properly. He sat on the edge of his bed, checking the state of his armor. In its current state, the armor was no more than a heavy burden. The Guard sighed.

"Well, I guess I'll have to fix that."

He left his lance by his bed, and he marched towards the Workshop. When he entered, he walked to the nearest forge, lighting it. He removes his armor, taking all of the intact leather straps off it, and threw the metal into a smelter. He waited for a moment, and then he used the molten metal to make slabs of it, which he concurrently heated and hammered into shape.

He then re-attached the leather, and fitted the armor. It was suitable; not perfect, but it had to do.

Well, this will work. Slightly thicker than before, but I guess that's a good thing.

He walked back to the Lair, walking past a Tentacle. At first he just ignored it, but then he looked again.

What the hell? What's a Tentacle doing in here? Hm, no-one else seems to have taken any notice, so I guess it's one of ours... still.

He marched quickly to his bed, grabbing his battered helmet and lance, and walked towards the Training Room. He spotted the Tentacle in there, trying to ignore him, but then he saw Clarissa. He felt a sudden surge of emotion through his mind as he pondered whether their romantic moment was just a dream or if it actually happened. Just in case it was a dream, he tried to steer clear of her for now, focusing on his training instead.

Niea awoke in her lair, feeling terrible all over and still shivering uncontrollably to add. Her head was spinning and her stomach seemed to be completely upside down. She couldn't move her body for the life of her. She just felt so weak. It was awful. Niea didn't even need to think about it. She knew she was sick. She caught a cold when she was hit by that Blizzard Bomb. And it was all that Tentacle's fault. Now she would have to waste time recovering, and that meant wasting gold if she was not working. Not to mention, it was so boring.

At least Niea was already curled up in her bed and wrapped in blankets. She didn't have to move. She merely had to lay there. All day. For several days. Until she recovered. Niea growled to herself, quickly losing her patience. She'd rather be sitting at the edge of her employer's land, waiting for the perfect moment. Then when the moment came, she would pull the trigger of her crossbow and watch her bolt fly, preferably stopping at the neck or heart of her target. At least then she was doing something interesting, even if it involved waiting. But this was just so boring!

Niea sighed. Then she coughed. Then she sneezed. Then she couldn't stop sneezing. She really hated being sick. It was absolutely infuriating. Perhaps she could just go to sleep and it would be all over. Just sleep it all away. That sounded really nice. Niea just needed to close her eyes, and put herself to rest. Just calm herself. It would all go away in just a moment. Sleep. She just needed to sleep. The room was quiet, except for the sound of torches. But that was alright, because Niea liked listening to torches burn. If she could hear them, that meant she was alone and in a peaceful environment. It was a bit soothing, and it was also a nice background noise.

Niea continued to remain in her... almost restful state. She couldn't quite get there, for even though she tried to put her mind at ease, removal of her thoughts only caused her to focus on the fact that her head was still spinning. That reminded her of her stomach, and suddenly she was feeling a little more ill than she did a moment ago. It was like whatever she ate earlier was swirling around and around in her stomach. Niea realized how much she wanted to vomit. With all of her strength, she pushed her head forward a few inches so that it was more at the edge. If she was going to let it all go, she wanted to avoid at least most of her bed. Fortunately, she was not facing the elderly crooked tree that was apart of her Lair. She didn't want to puke over its trunk.

Despite the heavy feelings of nausea, Niea did in fact not vomit. But she really wanted to. After a moment, the feelings began to die down. Niea's head started to settle in place. She still felt weak, but at least she wasn't weak with a need to vomit while being incredibly disoriented. She knew that if there was any moment that gave her the opportunity to fall asleep, it was this one. Closing her eyes again, Niea tried to put herself to rest once more. She embraced herself a little more to try and gather all her warmth. She took in a deep breath and listened to the peaceful background sound of torches. And then... there was chatter.

"Fin..... You m.. .. cute a.. sm... but yo... st... too heavy t. be l..... on m. fo. .. lo..."

    "O., s. I am yo.. cute, li.tt. si.t.. af..r ..., ...?"

"Now Yal.., .. y.. co... ta.. . mom... to st.. flir.... wi.. me..."

"If anyone, you're the one starting any flirting going on!"

"What was all this 'I love you' business earlier? What about that bite? Rough and unpleasant as it may have been, it was clearly intended as some kind of love bite."

Niea's eyes slammed open. They burned bright with fury, allowing only a single glance to be necessary before someone knew beyond a doubt just how pissed off she was. Niea wore a face to match, a scowl that was either completely terrifying or incredibly amusing. Niea didn't care what others thought of her for making such a face. She was mad. Those two annoying female voices were disrupting the peaceful silence, making Niea's head start to spin again. The more she thought about how irritated she was towards those two, the more it seemed to make her hurt.

Niea angrily looked up from her bed and could see two Dark Angels in a bed nearby, clearly lovers based on the way they spoke and embraced each other. Niea growled. Couldn't they go love each other somewhere else? Instead they just make noise in the Lair, which was really annoying. As things stood, Niea could do nothing but tolerate it. She had no voice to speak out with. She didn't even have the strength to get up and poke them or throw a pillow at them. Or to even get back said pillow. Niea growled again. She really hated being sick. And now she really hated Tentacles.

Frustrated, Niea finally took her pillow from under her head and put it over her head to try and drown out all the noise. She huffed under the pillow, trying to let out all the tension. She just wanted to go back to sleep. Was that so much to ask for? Just... to sleep. Niea tightly shut her eyes as she tried to return to that moment just before she fell asleep earlier. Her head was far out of control from all the motion, and her stomach was as worse as ever, but maybe, just maybe she could fall asleep if she really tried to.

"This time doesn't count! I was injured and-"

"Oh? And what about me? I would think my condition was worse than yours, and I still was able to get up sooner! I think you're just lazy, honestly!"

    "I am not!"

"Then get up and fix my staff!"

Niea finally snapped. She wasn't going to stand for this any longer. She wanted silence, so she was going to make it silent. The angry Dark Elf reached for her crossbow and loaded it as the Dark Angels continued to talk about their nonsense. She sat up and took aim. With them being only a few tiles away, even in her condition she could land a fatal blow with a single bolt for each. It took only a moment before she fired her crossbow. One of them was struck in the chest, and the other was thrown into confusion. Niea loaded another bolt, took aim, then fired. Blood poured from the second Angel's neck, staining their bed red with their blood.

The two female Dark Angel lovers were dead, and finally, Niea had her quiet. The Dark Elf let out a deep sigh of relief. She set her crossbow back beside her mattress and gently laid her head back on her pillow. She slowly closed her eyes as her head settled downagain. Smiling in the blissful quiet, save for the peaceful torches, Niea finally drifted in a deep, long sleep...

...If only that was what actually happened. Truth be told, Niea didn't even know where her crossbow was. Even if she did, she couldn't find the energy grab it or even sit herself up. Aiming would be completely impossible. Then she'd lose her current job. Niea didn't want that. But she still wanted to sleep. Niea growled again in frustration. She hated being sick, and she hated Tentacles. She hoped they all died in a fire.

After a long while of traveling throught the long hallway, Guillermo Ortega finally sees a steel door.

"Maldito calabozo... La forma mas inconveniente para llegar a un lugar, que blasfemia!"

Guillermo opens the steel door to find a big empty room. His hopes turn into sudden dissapointment. Not really having anywhere to go as he did not wanted to walk all the way back to where he came from, the knight goes into the room and decides to explore some of the rooms behind the doors. Up ahead into the hallway Guillermo finds two steel doors. He goes into one the room to his left and takes a look around. To his big surprise, he finds the these savage creatures know how to properly raise chicken, he notices there is a strange lack of eggs around the hatchery thought, he wonders if the chickens are really raised for their eggs or if they monsters eat the chicken, there was no kitchen nearby or any instruments to properly process the meat.

Confused by this, the knight turns back and goes into the other steel door. Inside of the room there were several crudely made wooden dummies in rows, the room was full of creatures punching them repeatedly or using all sorts of elemental powers, Guillermo takes a wild guess and assumes this is the "training room" he was ordered to go into. Regardless of not really knowing what kind of benefit bashing an enemy that cannot even fight back has in terms of physical and/or magical enhancement, the knight decides to "spar" with one of the wooden dummies, Keeper's order were training and this crude and embarrasing method of training would have to suffice for the time being.

"Por Dios... Que bajo he caido." Says the knight to himself.
