Suria the Blue Spawn of Rage

Suria was somehow able to endure the extremely long torture that was Crystice talking. But she believed she finally figuring it out. Whenever she got annoyed and frustrated, she thought about meat. Meat starting at her, meat in her mouth, and meat in her belly. It was such a satisfying thought that she was able to calm herself, for at least a few moments.

Now done with that, all she had to do was follow a few easy directions and then walk with everyone else. After getting into position and beginning her walk, Suria couldn't help but notice that, despite everyone still being usually bigger than her, they weren't as big as she remembered. Suria herself seemed to be getting bigger. It must be all the food. She was clearly getting fat. She was going to have to lose some weight. What better exercise could there be than to go commit mass genocide?

Suddenly the army stopped and Suria decided to take the opportunity to sit down again and rest. She head and could see a little bit of the Creatures up front attacking a Steel Door. Suria meanwhile just poked her fat belly. It was just sitting there, all jiggly and mockingly. Staring back at her. She was a fat Demon Spawn. But even this extra weight wasn't going to stop her. If necessary, she would use this added weight to sit on enemies and crush them.

"Alright, Suria! Go take out that Fear Trap!"

Suria jumped, "Huh? What?" Suria walked out from her position, seeing the destroyed Steel Door. She saw up ahead, at the end of a land bridge over water, stood a Fear Trap. She remembered something about destroying a Fear Trap, and Crystice just called her. Even if she hadn't been paying attention enough to catch the whole line, she could figure out that Crystice was telling her to destroy the Fear Trap. She stepped forward past the Steel Door, entering the land bridge and now being out in the open.

And suddenly everything changed. She was no longer on the land bridge nor surrounded by water. The Fear Trap disappeared from her view. Suria stopped and looked around, taking in her new surroundings. She was in the Lair, for some reason. She was by one of the entrances, and heading for her own bed. A nap seemed good. She may have been putting on weight and needed to kill to lose it but a nap before that was a good idea to rest for that killing.

Stepping towards her Lair, Suria suddenly realized there was a figure by her Lair. Who in their right mind would be by her Lair? She was going to kill them, whoever they were. The figure, a man, Suria presumed, looked to be hunched over. He was probably trying to steal the chest! That jerk! Suria was going to kill him! Right when he least expected it, she was going to jump onto his back and stab into his back, then pull out his heart. And then probably eat it. Suria quickly made her way towards the man.

She found him to be holding his stomach in an odd position. It was strange. It seemed kind of familiar, actually. Suria suddenly recalled the moment, and just then, the man let open his big, stupid mouth and a green, disgusting vomit poured out like a fountain or something all over Suria's beautiful, shiny gold. To top it off, the gold he didn't permanently damage he decided to plunder. That... bastard. The light of a torch managed to shine on his face, revealing someone she knew too well. Suria's most hated foe, out of all of her foes... Vermillion. She was reliving her worst nightmare. The bastard Rogue was contaminating her Gold with his vomit and stealing whatever was left that survived his assault. It was awful! Horrible! It was the most horrible thing she's ever seen... and it made her so angry...

Suria immediately transitioned into a full sprint for the Rogue and then lunged for him with a powerful jump from her legs. He saw her, and panicked, trying to run away with her Gold. But little did he know, she had recently leveled up. She activated Speed Self, and then grabbed the edge of his collar, swinging herself around to the front of him as she clung to his shirt. Vermillion pulled out a knife, attempting to gut her. When he tried to perform a stab, she bolted up to his shoulders. He merely stabbed himself in the process.

Suria slashed at Vermillion's head, taking out his ear. The Rogue let out a squirmish scream as she jumped off, getting behind his legs. She then tore through whatever clothing he had as she stabbed his ankles. Vermillion knelt over at the pain, just before Suria chomped onto the lower part of his other leg. He let out another scream as Suria ran between his legs, moving back to his front. Then, she did one of the most horrible things she ever could do to Vermillion. She leaped for his crotch. Meanwhile, in the Prison, Arnold smiled at the irony.

After Suria spit out Vermillion's bloody testicles, she leaped onto his chest again. She began violently slashing at his vulnerable chest, and Vermillion fell onto his back, no longer able to fight back or even stand while enduring such terrible wounds occurring in such rapid succession. Suria crawled up to his head, then she took back what was hers. His nose. She had earned it when they fought in the Combat Pit, but he had grown it back. She was taking back what was hers.

Suria let her claws dig into Vermillion's eye sockets as she pulled out his eyeballs. She laughed and mocked him, "Sight Spell this, Rogue!!" Suria had then reduced to simply pulling out the Rogue's hair before she began snapping at various points of his head, dealing sharp brain damage with her teeth. The Rogue was still alive, but only barely. Suria decided to end this with further suffering, so she crawled back onto his chest and slashed his neck. She watched in satisfaction as he squirmed and rolled around in pain and agony.

And suddenly, Suria was sitting in a pile of mess. She looked around in confusion. She was on the other side of the land bridge, staring back at Tesonu's army on the entering side, apparently having not crossed yet. She looked around and couldn't find the Fear Trap anywhere. Instead, there were just a bunch of parts scattered all around her as she sat in front of Hannibal's Steel Door with the foul taste of metal in her mouth. "What just happened?" Suria asked in confusion as she looked around, worried that Vermillion might be hiding somewhere.

    Health: 100%
    Level: 7
    Experience: 35/110
    Gold in Hand: 0
    Gold in Lair: 5910
    Equipment: None
Location: South End of the Eastern Land Bridge Between Tesonu's and Hannibal's Dungeon, In Front of the Steel Door where the Fear Trap was
Status: Confused, Sitting in Fear Trap Remains, Searching for Prey-I mean Vermillion

Summary: Suria followed along, went after the Fear Trap, then fell under its illusion where she saw her worst fear, reliving the moment when Vermillion vomited on her Gold and stole from her. This made her angry and she went after Vermillion, brutally slaughtering him. "Vermillion" happened to be the Fear Trap in question, and after inadvertently breaking it, Suria woke from its illusion, now confused and unsure of what just happened.

    "hi, I am Diana."

Malefric regarded his fellow creature from beneath his crested helm; it was a green goblin more than a few heads himself. A better pronoun might have been 'she' because the goblin was female he realized.

"Hello, little goblin friend; I am the Black Knight Malefric, son of Phlail. My waypartner, Paste, walks with us. We come to Northland to... fight."

The Black Knight frowned beneath his helmet and rebalanced his hammer over his shoulder.

"He just had the most scariest of nightmares! Where did its come from? What is a a rogue to do? Verms just can't take this kind of stressfulness!"

    Horrible flashbacks plagued him as he groggily returned to his feet, but one thing stood out more than anything;

    Keeper Tesonu

As Crystice gave detailed invasion instructions, Tesonu's attention actually turned away, focusing on the Black Knight, Omervium. There were a lot of things on his mind, a lot of things that needed to be dealt with, and a lot of things he had to ponder about. Omervium was the most recent issue, and thus Tesonu had little time to consider him. With the invasion going, he had plans to deal with the other three issues. So, for the moment, there was a moment to consider the Black Knight, or more specifically, the being living inside of him.

There were so many Dungeon Keepers about that it was difficult to remember them all, but Tesonu had a very good idea on who was an actual threat. Lesser Keepers were forgettable without much of a danger. The name "Ravilus" did ring a small bell but just about any Keeper name did. It didn't mean anything special. The lack of certainty could mean that either Ravilus was just as incompetent as most Keepers and was forgettable, or it could mean that he was very careful about who he let know of his existence. There was no middle status there. Tesonu had to know which he was, for it drastically changed everything.

Just then, Tesonu noticed that Omervium abruptly stopped training. Curious, Tesonu began paying extra close attention. He figured the Black Knight was hearing the voice of his master, Ravilus. He wondered what he could have been telling him, and suddenly Tesonu felt something different about the air. He could sense... magic. It was the distinct feeling of a Keeper's magic. After a moment, the Black Knight resumed his training. Tesonu studied this field of magic surrounding Omervium and quickly realized it to be Sight-of-Evil.

How intriguing... somehow Ravilus had managed to channel his Keeper Magic through Omervium, which normally isn't even possible with Possession Magic. This made Tesonu wonder if Ravilus truly was calculating, holding highly advanced knowledge of magic and how to manipulate it. He, however, quickly dismissed the thought. Something didn't add up... and suddenly Tesonu felt a massive rush of memories from many years prior. Realization struck him like thunder. Ravilus had just inadvertently revealed several critical pieces of information to Tesonu that would aid him in easily overcoming him. He knew exactly how Ravilus managed to attach his soul to Omervium. It was nothing Ravilus ever intended, as he just revealed that he was about as ignorant of Keeper Magic as every other Greyman Keeper. It was pure accident. Furthermore, there was probably no way for them to ever become separated. Nothing convenient, anyways...

Keeper, that tortured Guard is trying to tell you something.

"Huh? God damn it. Stupid Guard, interrupting my thoughts."

Tesonu turns his attention to the Torture Chamber and hears what Tetryos has to say.

"Keeper, I yield! I want to join your cause. I've always hated Cedric and his rabble, and I will aid you in your conquest in any way that you command."

"Normally, I'm quite fine with Heroes breaking down and joining my cause. It's usually quite convincing when I know what a complete dick the Lord of the Land is. However, I'm not quite sure if I want you to join... I wasn't particular fond of your response to me earlier. But I'll tell you what. You can join if you prove your loyalty to me. There is a certain other female Guard I'm sure you're acquainted with. She's proving to be quite stubborn. So I want you to go and help the torturer with his job."

"The torture method I'm using for her is humiliation. She is being slowly stripped in front of her former comrades and respected leader, all the way down to her bare skin if she gets that stubborn. But I'm sure we can make it even worse for her, right? What could be more embarrassing and humiliating to have her own former comrade perform such torture? Go and perform the task to prove your loyalty to me. I want her to be down to her underwear at least. Do this, and, should she decide to reveal information or even convert afterwards, you'll be free to go. Refuse and I will leave you there to suffer for the rest of your short life. Go now."

    *gets out popcorn and watches*

"Now that that is done with..."

A NEW SPELL HAS BEEN RESEARCHED: INFERNO.

"Good. Now I'll have something to deal with one of those issues. Mana shouldn't be an issue. I might even have enough to cast some Speed Spells on the Imps."

"Malsiah, you can go Train, Research, or whatever you wish. Your task is done for the time. If you choose to Research, then perhaps get me... uhh..."

    Tesonu takes out his List-of-Spells-of-Evil.

"Disease or Destroy Walls. Either one of those will be great."

The Invasion Army has departed, Keeper.

Tesonu then turns his attention to Shaylum and Baku.

"Shaylum, Baku, it's time to perform your Guard Duty."

A DARK ELF HAS ENTERED YOUR DUNGEON.

"Another Creature! Eventually, I think I'll be able to just swarm any opponent I find."

"Greetings, Keeper Tesonu. My name is Yggdrali, and I am an Archer with two crossbows that can be loaded with three bolts instead of one, making me a swift ranged fighter. I possess magic, primarily serving as an Illusionist with Fear Magic. As a secondary talent, I can cloak my bolts with various forms of Elemental Magic. I can research and manufacture as well, and can create Fear Traps with ease. I am at your services."

"Good. I suppose you could make some Fear Traps for now. Anyone with Workshop talents I want to have in the Workshop."

A BLACK KNIGHT HAS ENTERED YOUR DUNGEON.

"And another one! Looks like I'm finally accomplishing the Black Knight Army Spam Tactics. And... holy crap it's a female! YES!!"

I think she's called a Dim Knight, sir.

    "What's the difference?"

    I dunno, something about Magic.

    "Pretty damn sexy either way."

"That was quite a climb, huh, Swordy? Well I guess it's time to meet this Keeper."

    "......"

    "...'Swordy'?"

"Hello Keeper... Teh-son-oo...? Um, I think that's right. Uhh, anyways, I'm Tali! I'm a Black Knight! I'm here to smite these Hero wannabes! I'll slay any of those goodly dwellers that cross my path! I'm going to train for the day you call upon my services. I'm up for anything you have in mind! Anything that will help you prevail and triumph over all that is good and holy!"

"Uh... That's great, Tali. It is Tesonu. Keep training because you most certainly will be called into battle sooner than later."

A DARK ELF HAS ENTERED YOUR DUNGEON.

"Holy crap, another one! They just keep coming! And it's another woman! Hell yeah!! ...Damn, that's a nice figure."

    She's underaged.

    "F*** your laws!!"

    "...Huh? Whose that behind her?"

    Oh, I almost forgot.

    "What?"

A ROGUE HAS ENTERED YOUR DUNGEON.

    "......"

    "...I am not angry..."

"Hello there, Keeper Tesonu. My name is Zukia, and hers is Niea. We've come to be under your shelter in exchange for our services, as you'd expect. We are both highly skilled in assassination and can perform sabotage and intelligence gathering as well. Along the side of that, we can both research and manufacture. I'm sure you will enjoy the presence of both of us. One thing. Niea here prefers to be paid by the job, rather than collecting Payday. She is also mute, and so she needs me to communicate normally. So I guess that's everything. See ya around, Keeper Tesonu."

"Well, that's fine. If you two can work in the Workshop, then do so. I need everyone who can work in the Workshop to be there for the moment."

"See? That was perfectly fine. Acceptable. Not bad at all. Rogue or no. I like her. She will be nice. I am not angry."

ANOTHER ROGUE HAS ENTERED YOUR DUNGEON.

Tesonu suddenly lightnings the table in the Casino, breaking it and permanently ruining an Imp Card Game.

    "Mother f***er!!"

"Hello, Keeper! My name is Charm. Don't be fooled by my voice, because I am an expert in martial arts. I tend to avoid bladed weapons. And people. And generally anything that might endanger my life or anything else. You see, my name is rather misleading as well, since I seem to be constantly unlucky all the time. And it also affects others around me. I can, of course, see and disarm traps and unlock doors, and I am great in combat."

"...Yeah, that's great. Certainly better than the last Rogue..."

    God f***ing damn it.

"I'm sure I'll find some use for you, Charm. Something that you cannot possibly screw up through bad luck. It won't at all be dangerous."

Unless you consider an STD to be dangerous.

"...Hm. I just realized something. I have a Treasury and two Guard Rooms just sitting there. The Treasury is in a horrible position, and due to the tunnel just in front of the Trap Room leading to the west, those Guard Rooms are probably pretty useless, too. I should sell them. But first, I need to get that Gold out of there. What are the Imps doing?"

Mostly sitting around the Casino table you destroyed and weeping over it.

"Lazy bastards. Alright, gather them up and send them off to transfer the Gold."

    Do I look like Carl?

"Hm... no. You're right. You don't have enough class to be Carl."

    :(

"Alright Imps! Go and move the Gold of the Southern Treasury over to the Treasury by the Dungeon Heart!"

The Imps set out to perform the task. After finishing, Tesonu sells the Treasury and then the two Guard Rooms, gaining 10400 Gold.

Now you have almost enough Gold to finish rebuilding that Casino.

"Haha, no. Get out of my dungeon."

Tesonu builds the last five tiles of the Scavenger Room, costing 7500 Gold.

    "Well, I guess that's-"

ZAEL IS IN A MAGICAL COMA.

"...What the hell kind of message is that? Wait, what?"

Tesonu's attention turns towards Zael, who is in the Lair. He finds her to be sleeping in her Lair. In an act actually not born out of perversity, Tesonu poked her right breast. Knowing Zael, awake or not, she would reject to that. But she didn't, and that only confirmed that she was somehow in an eternal slumber... of sorts.

"Hm... definitely real. So this is what she's been doing... How the hell did this happen? Is this some sort of malfunction with the Lair's magic? Hmm..."

Tesonu began recalling events that occurred previously, trying to figure out the answer, and then it suddenly came to him. During the second last Hero Invasion, the one led by Chuckles, the Wizard, Sheer, had attempted to cast another spell over Tesonu. It was entirely possible that the spell did have some sort of limited effect. Zael, at the time, had also went into a long sleep then, too. Furthermore, she caught a cold. It was an odd thing... but perhaps she was vulnerable and had somehow been affected by Sheer's magic. If it altered her being like any other status magic, then there was a very easy solution.

Tesonu gently picked up Zael and then carried her over to the Temple before he carefully set her on her back.

    "There... how does that feel?"

"Keeper, I wanted to make a humble request, you see..."

    "Huh? What?"

Tesonu zooms over to the speaker, Gwannial, who was by his Dungeon Heart.

"My experimentation require living entities in order for me to gather some scientific information. I am aware of the most recent assault and if I had the chance I would like to procure one or two enemies in the torture chamber for my... own delighted. Of course, doing this will benefit the dungeon greatly as the result will greatly help on a research you might desire. For example, my current research dump was thanks to the 'participation' of a particular disliked salamander named Essam. While he was quite useless in his state I turned his situation into a benefit, and I can do the same for your enemies."

"Uhh... Not right now. You're better off doing some training to prepare for things to come."

Tesonu turns his attention back to Zael.

    Diana listens to Malefric's response.

"Hello, little goblin friend; I am the Black Knight Malefric, son of Phlail. My waypartner, Paste, walks with us. We come to Northland to... fight."

"What a coincidence!" says in excitement "I am here to fight as well! gratuitous violence and bloodshed are the best!"

Meanwhile, Grith was busy with someone as well.

"Hello! I'm Cytai! It's nice to see another fire-friend here, one that isn't mean like that one." Watches as Cytai hisses at Suria "So maybe we can be fire-friends? Like, forever? We can go and do stuff, like lava fishing!"

Grith almost fells the urge to get away, but remembers Diana's words "...Just ignore her and everything will be fine!" and pays attention to Cytai once again. "Me Grith! I'm not fire friend, i am demon spawn, silly! I like friends and lava fishes, let's do it after the killing, k?" both demon spawns continued marching and talking.

Meanwhile, Guillermo with the help of the other creatures managed to take down the steel door without much issues or resistance. "Cedric, muy pronto conceras lo que es la justicia en Castilla, muerte es un castigo muy generoso para alguien tan deshonroso." Says Guillermo to himself, making reference to how Cedric will know about "Castillan Justice" which basically meant the knight had intentions on killing him due to his lack of honor and leadership. He watches as Suria rushed towards the fear trap and decided to stick with the formation.

Gwannial received a response from Keeper Tesonu. "Uhh... Not right now. You're better off doing some training to prepare for things to come." which didn't really pleased the spider at all, he tried to hide his anger and disappointing. "As you wish, keeper.", the spider went away and headed directly towards the training room ignoring everyone in there, he decided to smack a dummy to take away his anger. "(Keeper, I thought of you as an entity of science and knowledge, i guess i was wrong. However, I have to be careful with what i do or say to him, he might punish me as he did with that reptile.)" continued hitting the dummy as well as trying to remember new spells "(For now, the only thing i can do is get stronger, while this keeper may be foolish he still is my best bet on claiming revenge, at least until a better candidate appears... I'll play along this stupid game for the time being.)"

Relieved that the Keeper would spare him, Tetryos got up off the Torture bench. He also realized his freedom came with a condition. Looking over to his comrade Clarissa, he decided to put his morals aside.

He walked over to her, whispering to her,

    "Please forgive me for this."

He joined the Torturer in his task, taking off her armor piece by piece. The first part to come off was her helmet, exposing her elegant face and soft brown hair. She squirmed, trying to stop their progress. Next was her steel boots and leather gloves, moving on to her flexible breastplate and the last remaining pieces of metal that protected her. All that covered her slender body now was a thin leather body suit.

As Tetryos proceeded to loosen and remove it, Clarissa shouted desperately for them to stop. Tetryos halted for a moment, thinking about what he was doing as the Torturer continued. Shaking off another tingle of morality, he painstakingly continued to torture his comrade.

Clarissa continued to shout as they removed the body suit, and now lay on the bench in only her underwear. Tetryos asked her firmly,

"Will you convert now? Cedric's a scumbag, life with this Keeper will be much more rewarding."

"Never! I'll never join a Keeper."

    "So be it."

Tetryos moved his hands up to her bra, and began to slowly undo it. Clarissa moved back and forth, to throw off her torturers, but to no avail. With a swift tug, the bra was removed, revealing her breasts for everyone to see.

    I hope you're happy, Keeper.

    "Will you convert now?"

Clarissa said nothing, she just continued to squirm. Shaking his head at her stubborness, Tetryos moved lower down her body, grabbing hold of the last piece of her clothing. He looked up at her, silently telling her to convert. He was about to remove it when...

"ALRIGHT! I'll convert! Please, please just stop..!"

Pleased that she had found some sense, and also somehow disappointed, Tetryos addressed the ceiling.

"I've done it, Keeper. I have proven my loyalty to your cause."

He turned back to the mostly naked female guard, and released the restraints. He quickly picked up her clothing and handed it to her, before grabbing his lance and walking out of the Torture Chamber.

    OPHELIA, THE LIZARD WOMAN
    Humanoid Lizard (Salamander)

The lizard looks around and heads towards the dungeon heart, she kneels before Tesonu. "Keeper, my name is Ophelia." says the lizard on a very serious tone "I came here from the far away land of Summermarsh, but i won't bother you with my sad story. But please, whatever you do, don't mistake me for a filthy salamander! I am a lizard woman, ok?" she continues introducing herself "I know nothing on fighting, mommy and daddy lizards bought those barbie lizard dolls or something when i was little, heh..." says the lizard woman sarcastically "I can however offer my services on crafting, whatever contraption you need done i'll have it done. I think i should not waste your time with my nonsense. I'll be at the workshop to check on the current available projects. I'll see you around."

Ophelia headed towards the lair and makes a nest. She quickly heads towards the workshop, paying attention on some of the creatures along the way. she finally reached the workshop and tried to look at the tasks to be done. "Hmmm... Let's see what can i do in this joint."

    </\> Omervium & Ravilus </\>

It took a little while for Omervium to become accustomed to his new eyesight. As he resumed slashing away, Ravilus took a break from his spell modifying, taking the time to look around. He noticed that the Giant from the battle had converted, now happily bashing the training dummies rather than other creatures. Along with that, he took note that his left arm was laughably small while his right matched his club in both length and girth. 'What horrible event took place to cause such a deformity?' Ravilus pondered.

Scanning away from the Giant, Ravilus saw a Skeleton flinging spells. Not only was it unusual for such an organless being to know magic, but he was sure there were none present in the dungeon, and he highly doubted a Skeleton could have passed through the Guard Room from the Prison for the short time they were on patrol. And even if it was possible, Ravilus couldn't think of anyone in the prison who knew any amount of magic. 'Omervium,' he asked, 'Does the presence of that Skeleton perplex you as it does me?'

Omervium looks up from the dummy he was attacking to spot the creature in question, quickly arriving at a similar conclusion. 'Hm, I believe you're correct to be suspicious.' Both of them now curious, Omervium maneuvers toward the skeleton and initiates a conversation, still training somewhat. "I don't mean to impose on your practice, but it seems to me that you are not of the standard Skeleton variety." The Skeleton, however, does not respond to Omervium in any way and completely ignores him as he continues to train.

'He didn't even look over in acknowledgement.' While Omervium was considering that the Skeleton just wanted to be left alone to train, Ravilus saw another possibility. Observing the movements of the Skeleton, he observed that they were quite stiff and repetitive, almost as if it were being manipulated by a puppeteer. There was only one conclusion he could reasonably make. 'Maybe he didn't look over not because he wants to be left alone, but because he can't.' The Black Knight became even more confused. 'Are you saying that he has a stiff neck?' Ravilus laughed. 'Not at all. What I meant to say is that he is under the control of someone else, kind of like Possession, but his movements are too rigid for that. Maybe it's another form of possession we don't know about.' They both kept an eye on the Skeleton to see if anything else suspicious comes from him.

"Hmhmhm, hello there, Black Knight," spoke a soft and almost playful feminine voice from behind, "What are you up to? Shouldn't you be training and not pestering others?" Omervium turned around calmly to see a pale but young Witch in black robes tied with brown and red with long golden brown hair. She was a toothpick compared to the swordsman in his armor, with two old tomes floating around her. "I was just making mention his rigid movements, as if he was not under his own control. Also to mention that there is no possible way that he could've come from the prison, as we have captured no magic users. Would it be safe to say that you know something of this?" Omervium reasoned.

"Hm, I dunno..." the Witch shrugged as she spoke in a passive tone, then proceeded to calmly walk over to the Skeleton and pet him on the head, "He sure looks like an obedient Skeleton though. But what makes you think I could be involved, Omervium?" "You have been the only one to confront me. Idle chitchat is not uncommon while training." He counters with a logical explanation, his attention firmly on her now. "You're possessing him somehow, but it seems to be a detached form of it. It's as if he's attached to you, connected as your magical servant."

The Witch giggled with glee, "Oh you give me so much credit! To possess him while retaining control over my own body... what amazing power you must think I have! Stop it, Omervium, I'm blushing!" 'How does she even know my name?' Omervium was getting somewhat irked by this Witch. Ravilus put 2 and 2 together for him. 'I think she was in the last battle with us. I specifically remember her declining volunteer work. Her name was never mentioned though.' After a short pause, he asked, "So, how does it work? What do you do to make Skeletons such as this one do your bidding?"

The Witch put her hands on her hips, losing her playful tone, "So you really think I'm for some reason controlling this Skeleton, huh? How rude. Our first real meeting and you accuse me of using some sort of puppet magic." Omervium decided to approach the topic from a different angle. "What is it that you do then? It definitely appears you are skilled in some form of magic." "I like to perform a variety of things," Malsiah answered, "I can cast Drain, summon a bit of Wind, cast Invisibility and Sight, Heal even, oh and Teleport."

Omervium chuckled, "Well, it seems you are quite the mage. Now if a kind, youthful spellcaster such as yourself were to have a name, what would it be? Mine is Omervium, but it seems that information has already been given out freely whilst preparing for the last battle we had." "Oh of course. I've known Dreggory from before, not personally, and you're certainly not a Nalina. Or, well, that would be just silly," the Witch giggled a bit, "I am called Malsiah~! Remember my name well, Black Knight."

"I shall." Before turning away to continue his training, he said one last thing, "Oh, and Malsiah, if you did happen to be master to this fine Skeleton over here, I certainly wouldn't judge you." And with that, he was swinging at the dummies once more. 'Well then,' Ravilus broke his silence, 'she seems like quite the character.' Omervium responded, 'Indeed.' Malsiah, casting Wind across training dummies and targets herself, replied, "Oh I never said I wasn't, silly."

A momentary pause in discussion was present as they trained by each other. Her last statement slowly drew Omervium in closer to continue talking with her. Something about Malsiah encouraged conversation, but he wasn't sure what it was. "I'm still curious about the Skeleton and how it's being controlled if you're willing to enlighten me." "Hm? Still on that, huh? It's a little something called Necromancy. Ever heard of it?" Malsiah asked, regaining the slightest hint of her playful tone.

Ravilus had no idea what Necromancy was, but hearing the name unlocked memories in Omervium's brain. When he was young, his father used to tell him stories of Necromancer cultists gathering in graveyards to 'summon the spirits'. They never came up to anything, but by seeing the results of a real Necromancer proved that the cultists were novices when it came to the topic. "Only that it doesn't involve hard alcohol," he joked. He continued, more serious this time, "I knew it had something to do with the dead, but I didn't know it had the capability to bring them back to life."

"Back to life?" Malsiah repeated as she looked at him, then laughed lightly, "Hmhmhm! Hardly. Ahh... even if you had an eternity to read every book of necromancy, you'd never be able to learn the secret of my power." "Well, not exactly back to life, but not exactly dead either," Omervium tried to elaborate. "And I fully understand that there will still be parts of necromancy that I will never understand. But the pursuit of knowledge is always important, even for one such as myself, who only truly needs to know their blade and their enemies' weaknesses."

"Hmhm, that's not at all what I meant," Malsiah took one more glance at the Black Knight before turning away to throw a little more Wind, "But it's interesting to find someone who is beyond simple brute force, even if they can't understand such technicalities of magic. I had a little fun earlier abusing someone kind of like that. It was that Hero Guard heading after the Goblin girl, Diana. Were you paying attention to what was going on beyond your little battle with that Knight?"

Omervium barely recalled Diana chasing after one of the guards, but details were fuzzy afterwards. However, Ravilus, who was free of the fight, saw the situation between Diana, Malsiah, and the guard, and quickly relayed the info back to him. "Of course," he proclaimed proudly "He was too busy being confused by your sudden appearance, and by the time he took action, you were already so many steps in front of him that it was hopeless. In fact, I don't believe he hit you once."

"Why, that's quite right..." Malsiah then began batting her eyes towards Omervium, "You're really trying to impress a girl, huh?" Deciding to use some of her own words against her, he says with a coy smile, "I dunno. You do seem to be a fascinating young sorceress that anyone would be lucky to have. But what makes you think I could be trying to do that?" Malsiah giggled and blushed, "Oh Omervium~ Are you asking me out?" As he has been training most of his life, Omervium never had much time for relationships. They hindered his progress when it was most important. Now, however, he has learned everything his father could've taught him, and was willing to make this venture.

He wasn't done yet though, as he retorted in a serious tone while looking over at her, "What kind of person do you think I am? Suggesting that I'm want you to be my lover when we've only just met. How rude." Malsiah suddenly developed a rather coy expression, "Lover? Oh my. Here I am, wondering about the possibility of a simple date, and yet there you are, thinking about engaging with far more sexual activities as an actual lover. I didn't know you were so perverse!" Ravilus chuckled inside Omervium's head. 'Would you like me to make a gravestone for that hole you're digging?' 'Yes, my good friend. Yours.' If Omervium could've punched the former Keeper, he would have.

He continues the conversation as smoothly as he can. "Why, I feel you are misleading my statement in an unintended direction. One can love without physical contact. Besides, such actions should only be considered after a fitting relationship has been established, and even then only if both parties are interested." Malsiah merely laughed, "Hmhmhm! What a sight! Silly Omervium, you just revealed to me a critical flaw of character. One that can most easily get you killed against a clever opponent! What you say is so obvious, so very simple. Yet, that in itself is irrelevant. The important factor is that your own statement easily works against you," Malsiah shrugged, "But it's also obvious that we're both toying with the other, or at least attempting to. After all, that's all apart of this little game, right?" Malsiah then gave him a sly smile, "Of course, the difference between you and I is that I actually succeeded in pulling through and enjoyed myself~!"

"Your face earlier, it clearly told me that you didn't have a clue as to how I fought with that Guard, and yet..." Malsiah gave a pause as she eyed Omervium with great suspicion, "...several moments later, you had this look of realization. As if you had suddenly learned or remembered. You spoke with such clarity, as if you were watching the battle personally and knew its secrets. After that initial look, I knew it wasn't likely that you remembered things so smoothly. With the way you spoke, I figured you were either with some sort of high ego and attempting to hold onto some foolish pride, or you were trying to impress me. I don't really care one way or another. But I figured I might as well go with the latter presumption, as to have a little fun with you. I certainly enjoyed myself, how about you~?" Malsiah shrugged again then gave the Black Knight another sly smirk, "Besides, you got one critical detail wrong anyways, which is mere confirmation that I was right in thinking you couldn't remember things so clearly."

Slightly relieved, Omervium said, "I also had fun, while it lasted. I was indeed trying to impress you when it came to the battle. Normally, I only keep track of allies and enemies in the immediate vicinity, as well as any ranged support." He laughed a little himself. "As we've both seen, you are far more superior when it comes to a battle of words. You've mastered turning arguments on their head in a way that would befuddle world renowned philosophers. On the battlefield, however, I make sure that I always have the upper hand and would never make a mistake that would open up my defenses. I am too disciplined to allow that to happen." Looking at her quizzically, he asks, "So Malsiah, what was this detail about the battle that I seemed to miss?"

Malsiah shrugged carelessly, "If you want to believe you have this flaw covered up, fine by me. So long as you don't get me killed, too." Malsiah let out another sly, but more suggestive, smile, "As for the battle, I didn't overcome that Guard simply because I had the element of surprise. I overcame him because I gained control over his mind." Omervium cared little about this so called flaw she was mentioning, for discussions and combat are two very different creatures. He would most likely find a flaw in his opponent's tactics long before he leaves himself open for an attack, even an unexpected one.

The mind control that she claims to have employed was far more interesting. Considering the situation, he voiced his hypothesis, "By that, I presume you used your words to affix him into a certain mental process, keeping his attention away from the goblin and also encouraging him to make mistakes under duress. I know of the tactic, but do not use it very much myself unless it would significantly turn the tide of battle. I have learned that in such situations feelings can be dangerous and that focus should be directed towards the task at hand and their actions, not their words." Malsiah merely shrugged carelessly, "Think what you will." Omervium was going to say something else, but he decided to wait on it instead. Ravilus in the meantime pondered exactly how powerful the female necromancer was.

Malsiah, appearing to have been watching Omervium through the corner of her eye, gave him a knowing look, "What's the matter, got nothing else to say?" Malsiah began waving her right hand around carelessly as she gave him another sly smile, "As much as I'm sure you enjoy my company, I do have to be leaving. I only came by to pick up Mage. Enjoy the questions I left you with, or forget them in narrow thinking. Either way~! Bye Omervium, I hope my name has been hard pressed into your memory by now~" "Mage?" Omervium chuckled. "Your creativity knows no bounds, my dear Malsiah." Malsiah looked back for a moment, giving Omervium a light smile, "Look who's still clinging on. What else would I name something so traitless?" She turned her attention towards the Skeleton, "Come along now, Mage." "Yes, Mistress," the Skeleton replied mindlessly. "Bye Omervium," Malsiah repeated as she began to head out with Mage remaining close. Omervium waves goodbye and continues on training.

....Holy Angel - Yalniai & Zelniana - Dark Angel
    .. "Yalni" & "Zelni"=

When the army reached the first Steel Door, Yalniai stood idly as she watched the first line attack the door. Yalniai was not in a position to be of much help. There wasn't any room for her to strike with her blade and she wasn't much of a heavy hitter for it to matter either way. The only magic she had was Shine. While it was powerful in its own right against the correct enemies, against a non-Magic Door, it couldn't do much good. Not to mention, Zelniana was the one who wielded the power of magic. But at the same time, Drain was not a spell meant to deal damage. Such casting of spells would only waste their energy. Her sister seemed to think the same thing, for Yalni saw no casting of the unholy magic.

Instead, Yalniai could feel a pair of hands gently touch her shoulders as Zelniana's head appeared beside her own. The Dark Angel's wings curled around the two of them in a very intimate way, demonstrating just how little Zelniana cared for who was watching and judging her. It was extremely embarrassing. Yalniai could not hide that fact has her blue face blushed red. "Zelni, what are you doing...?" Yalniai whispered in a concerned voice so low that she could barely even hear herself. "Shh..." Zelniana cooed, "I remember how uneasy you can get before such large battles..." "Zelni, I-" Yalni tried to tell her that she was fine when her sister gently quieted her, "Shh... Relax..."

As her sister caressed her upper body in a soothing fashion, Yalniai slowly began to close her eyes as she lost herself in the moment of bliss, knowing that with Zelniana's wings wrapped around her, no one could see her pleasurable expressions. She thought about the way Zelniana enveloped her large, black wings around her smaller frame. It was so... protective... lovingly... the last traits one would ever think could be used to accurately define her. Yet, that was why Dark Angel was so fitting a title for Zelniana. She may have been dark and unholy about her ways at times... or most of the time... but she was still an angel. A very strange one at that. Though Yalniai couldn't see herself openly admitting it, she loved her sister dearly and fought to protect her life. She also knew the feeling was mutual.

When Yalniai opened her eyes, the Steel Door and Fear Trap behind it had both been taken down. They were on the move again. Somehow, Yalniai felt herself breathing easier. She moved with such grace, even if performing something as simple as walking. It was weird to move in such a fashion, with such incredible ease. She felt like a heavy burden had been lifted from her, some sort of invisible burden. She thought she was fine before, but feeling herself now, she knew that she could have been better. Now, she did feel better.

With a quick glance behind to see her sister, Yalniai noticed how Zelniana acted as if the moment had never occurred. Yalniai suddenly had the feeling that perhaps it never had, but she knew that it had. It was a curious moment of bliss given to her by a sister that enjoyed finding anything to tease her with from the way she breathed to the size of her breasts. If Yalniai didn't know her sister so well, she would have believed it was simply her imagine for Zelniana to care so much.

    ... ... ... ... ... ...
    ..
    The Dim Knight of Evil
    Tali

    DOUG THE DOOF

Tali was closely observing the Giant as she trained, carefully forming her delicate plan to snap his neck. She came to realize almost by pure accident while training that she had the best chance of succeeding if she attacked him from his right side, where his massive arm was located. At first, it seemed foolish, but it wasn't. If she could climb on top of him from there, the Giant would have the most difficult of times trying to get her off. It was much more difficult to touch a shoulder using the same arm as opposed to using the other arm, as Tali had figured out. But his other arm was rather small, and would have just as much difficulty as his right arm would. Granted, that was implying his right arm was of normal size. But it wasn't, so he'd likely have even more difficulty trying to bend his right arm to get to his right shoulder as it would get in its own way, making it impossible.

As the Giant would panic and struggle, unable to figure out how to get Tali down fast enough after she surprise attacks him, she would snap his neck and score. It was the perfect plan. As to how she figured it out, Tali's own shoulder area was getting a little sore from swinging Swordy wildly during the training session. She had attempted the same thing, using the arm belonging to the same shoulder to massage herself. Needless to say, it wasn't very successful.

The plan was set, and Tali was ready to make her move. She merely needed to wait for the Giant to open up. He had to have his giant arm exposed to her. It would be best if it was just after he finished a swing, as that's when he stopped for a time before attacking again, thus was most open for attack himself. The more she watched and listened to him train, the more she got used to the sound and pattern of his attacks. It got to the point when she could close her eyes and still select the right moment to attack.

Suddenly, the Giant began turning his body, and Tali immediately became alert. He targeted another dummy, turning himself to face it, and thus unknowingly exposed himself to her. He performed a few swings, and then right after his third swing, Tali selected her moment.

Gotcha! Time to die, Heroic Fiend!

In one swift motion, Tali performed an abrupt charge and pounced onto the Giant as she let loose a high-pitched, girlish scream. Her plan quickly began to present new problems as she soon realized that the Giant was a lot bigger than she gave him credit for. Tali ended up simply latching onto his mutated arm, like some sort of giant, feminine, evil, but adorable leech. She quickly began trying to climb up to reach his neck, but was making little progress.

Feeling the human on his arm, the Giant stopped swinging and looked at his arm, saying in a booming voice, "Why human jump on Doug's arm? Doug no like human on Doug's arm! Doug shake human off!!" And with that, the self proclaimed Doug began swinging his arm from side to side in an effort to fling Tali off. Tali, as determined as she was, refused to let go. However, Doug's shaking effectively disabled Tali's ability to make progress up his arm. She soon found herself clinging onto him for the sake of clinging, holding on as if her life depended on it. She lost grip of Swordy and he flew off in some unknown direction. "Oh no, Swordy!" Tali shrieked.

Still resolved to have her kill, Tali refused to let go and fought hard to remain stuck on the Giant's arm. As his shaking became more and more violent, Tali heard herself screaming like a little girl. She managed to launch a surprise attack on Doug, utilizing her only means of doing so. Without Swordy, Tali decided to bite him. He laughs, "Human squeals like pig! Human bites like tiny bug!! Doug tires of human!" Doug starts bashing his arm against the training dummies. Tali, surprised by the motion, reluctantly let go and dropped to the floor. She rolled next to the dummy she was smashed into, hurting from both physical pain and mental shock. "Owie..." she muttered to herself. She then noticed Swordy laying nearby.

"I do not sound like a pig, you big, ugly, boar!" Tali shouted from the ground, "And you have stupid name, too!" The words coming out of the female were annoying to the Giant, who responded, "Doug is boar? Doug name stupid? NO! DOUG NOT BOAR! DOUG GIANT!! DOUG NAME NOT STUPID!!! HUMAN ANGER DOUG!! DOUG SMASH HUMAN!!!" Doug's club can be seen hurtling through the air in a downward motion straight for Tali.

Becoming aware of the way Doug announced his attacks beforehand, Tali had already been on her feet with Swordy in hand by the time he finished talking. When he began to actually attack her, Tali charged forward. She was quite nimble compared to most Black Knights and fighters in general, successfully dodging the blow as she ran into the safety area right in front of Doug. Upon arriving, the Black Knight thrust her blade into the Giant's leg.

At that moment, a massive green hand suddenly appeared out of nowhere and, before they knew it, both Tali and Doug had been slapped away from each other. Tali, after landing on her rump, muttered to herself, "Ow... what happened...?" For Doug, the sudden slap ripped the sword out of his leg, leaving a nasty gash as he slammed onto the ground flat on his back. "GAH!!!! WHO HIT DOUG??!??" he yelled, howling in pain.

"Bad Creatures!! What are you two doing, fighting? I won't tolerate any more of this! Fight again and you're both spending some time in the Prison!"

"Awwwwwwww~" Tali whined, "But I was going to kill the Hero!!" "Human hurt Doug!! Doug deserve to smash human!!" Doug said angrily. Doug suddenly received another slap.

"No more fighting! Or else, Torture!"

Not wanting another slap, he replied, "Fine. Doug smash these instead!!" Doug goes back to smashing the training dummies with gusto, forgetting all about his leg. Tali, meanwhile, located Swordy and looked back up to Tesonu with eyes of shame, "I'll go... find something else to fight against... I guess..." Nalina
    The War Maiden
    Maiden of the Nest

Nalina thought it to be weird to see the way Suria attacked the Fear Trap, but then she realized she wasn't exactly sure what to expect. Thinking about it, Nalina didn't believe she had ever seen or fought against a Fear Trap. She wondered what would happen when she did. Seeing Suria suddenly pause as she got closer to the Fear Trap and watching as she looked around with caution, then proceeded to suddenly attack it in a rage was perplexing. She wasn't at all sure what the Fear Trap was doing.

When the Trap was down, Nalina heard Crystice give the command, "Alright, keep moving! Get back into position, Suria!" The army once again began its march as Suria returned to where she was supposed to be. Right behind the Fear Trap was another Steel Door. Nalina began hammering away. Joined by Dreggory, Guillermo, and some magical support, the door eventually went down. It took just as much of an effort as the previous one, making Nalina's arms slightly weary.

The army began to move again, passing through a tunnel and then reaching a large, empty room that had Tesonu's Call-to-Arms flag. Crystice spoke in a voice loud enough for everyone to hear, yet not so loud that her voice would escape far beyond the room, "Beyond this door is the Guard Room,w here we'll encounter our enemies. Everyone, prepare yourselves!" Nalina replaced her tomahawk with her short sword. She gripped both her sword and shield tightly as they approached the Braced Door and began taking it down as well.

Location: Hannibal's Claimed Trap Room, In Front of Hannibal's Braced Door
Status: Serious, Ready for Battle, Attacking Braced Door with Short Sword
    Efficiency: 100%

Summary: Nalina watched Suria destroy the Fear Trap, then began attacking the Steel Door and eventually took it down. They proceeded onward to the Braced Door after a word of warning from Crystice of what lay beyond.
