I know what I type...

I press ctrl+alt+c and hear the rock sound then I type "do not fear the reaper" and nothing happends...

Tried it with spaces, without, with an enter at the end and without, nothing happends.

try pressing escape first so the game is paused.

Is Level 1 the only level where are problems with the ending?

Yes. All others do seem to work. There is a fix for that.
