This has made me pretty happy.
One thing though, make all the Imps the same. They were all created fro the same Keeper, using the same spell and same mana. If anything different Keeper Imps may vary, but please make our Imps the traditional brown.

That assumes the spell is a straight cloning spell - it can be more interesting than that. In DK2 the spell got more expensive for every imp cast - which doesn't sound like simple old duplication of the same thing to me. If that were the case we might just as well take away their names and give them numbers.

If there are going to be variations I would like imps to have them as well.
I have a habit of picking a favorite imp and coddling him throughout the level.
Also it lets you keep track visually of the one imp thats a level 4 when he's idling.
(i know i know, imps IDLING? you're DOING IT WRONG)

I think the imp looks great, but why is it green? Shouldnt it be brown?

In game in both DK1 & DK2 it was brown, but the only source of real detail is the DK2 cut-scenes in which it was green. Hence why the imp in my sig is green and brown =)

That said... as long a creature variation in skins is being used, could we not have both?

The Imp's are green for a reason right at the moment. It's just the model colour we have chosen for them for testing purposes, the model isn't actually done yet, once it is done we do plan to have it brown.

but the idea of them being either colour is a good one, i'll see what other dev's think of it.
