I love the imp... I think he is perfect. He is the best imp i ever did see.

You did a brilliant job and all he lacks is that pick-axe because you captured the imp perfectly .

I think i'm going to do something to these models that I didn't do before.

    - Rough them up. he shouldn't look so 100% Symmetrical.
    - I should rough up his little bag, and make use of the advanced detail displacements that 3ds max will render.
    - Make them Dirty. he's a mine worker for pete's sake

pickaxe modeled. Still need to cut the top metal part and add bolts. I'll also tweak the wood thickness once It's in his hands

Nice though I can barely see the handle part due to the dark background >.< (I can still see it though :P)

The only thing I could possibly think of for the imp addition wise is to make them him look a little sleep deprived. Like some puffiness and/or slightly darker skin colouring, under the lower eyelids.

On the subject of the pickaxe, I imagine it would depend on whether it is meant to be a one or a 2 handed digging implement. One handed it is fine as is, but if it is to be used Two handed, it requires a lot more of a levered swing behind it, so the handle would need a to be quite a bit longer, something like 2 and a half imp's feet in length.

Other than that I would say it is the perfect imp

imps never sleep though, so they can't be sleep deprived, can they?

I kind of wrote that from the assumption that the imps weren't always under the control of the keepers. So I mostly forgot that imps are created by the keepers :P

Edit: In DK1 don't they sleep leaning on their pickaxes sometimes? I know MGR, and possibly others I may have forgotten, have said they are having a cigarette when they stop working, but I'd like to think it is open to interpretation.

They run off mana so they don't need sleep :P

And yeah they do smoke as you know. But what you probably didn't know, is that they gain health by smoking ;P

PS: I would have replied earlier but my internet was being crappy >.<
