When your walls can't break, yea. That would be rediculous. Like I always say, balance comes after the concept. How can I know the right cooldown amount if there has been no calculations and play tests.

    Synergy. Just sayin'.

I put dots to show the imps

Btw, if you guys have nothing but scrutiny for this thread, then there's no point you being here. You guys are just repeating the same points many times just adding more sarcasm each time.

And when fortified walls have to end up being as hardy as cardboard just for this to get in, that's even more ridiculous.

Yes, but if it theoretically will end up in walls having to cost over 9000 gold and seconds of recharge time you might as well not add it in.

I don't really see the synergy in this. Just arbitrary restrictions.

Thank you very much for proving my point in that picture. Especially thanks for showing why using diagonal walls is bad in the middle part of the second image.

I'm just improving the game by filtering out the bad stuff.

If you consider that no reason for me to post here, then I'll gladly support RothTFP's "dungeon xxx" sex suggestions to be in WftO. After all, mr. Ditzy here told me that there's not point to being against suggestions and obviously the suggester is always right.

Apparently I still have reason to post them, then. I'd stop if I had an acceptable valid answer to them, that I fully agree with.

While I disagree with having a spell like this, I think having it being a balance issue is far from a good argument.

We are using mana not gold for spells as far as I know. If this amount is equally high as the spell to break fortified walls (10000 or something) then that should be fine.
'Do I want to use that high amount of mana to place a wall there in order to buy myself some time/fix a mistake or should I keep the mana for spells that prove to be useful in combat.'

You wont be able to just dig outside of your domain to get that gem and completely wall yourself in again. As you need mana it depends on the size of your dungeon on how often you can use it. Which should be low regardless. You might use it to fix tiny mistakes and buy yourself some time.

I just realized I never replied to this message, even though I intended to. Must have forgotten. There's not much I can add to as a response to Dizzi since Mothrayas pretty much covered all I had to say.

After that I did some skirmish, saw there was a casino and thought what is this crap. I made it and bang suddenly weird music plays and all monster dance like idiots for way too long.
At that point I just uninstalled.
Lol, wow. That bad for you huh? DK2 was the first I tried so it felt normal. But I liked DK1 once I played it cause it had a darker atmosphere and was less broken and stuff.

Well if you wanna make a new suggestion for a stronger barricade, go right ahead. Maybe call it the Stone Barricade or something. I dunno. I don't think it should be too much stronger compared to a normal Barricade or we'll end up with a DK1 Door effect as I said before. I'm sure you remember how much stronger Magic Doors were compared to Iron Doors. Makes Iron Doors look pretty pathetic.
