    Default Gold Edition - AI patch nedeed?

    Do I need to apply the DK1 AI patch if I have the Gold Edition? Thanks.

    I don't recall that you do, since if memory serves me right the patch is included in the DK:Gold installer.

    Though I think the AI could have used a patch or two more, considering it can still "wither" on a number of levels even with the patch. Sometimes it seems like if you don't start an enemy keeper with 100000 gold he'll run out before you even fight him. But then when you give them that much gold, they don't want to do any digging or exploration and just sit on their hands (of evil) the whole time :/

    And then in Deeper Dungeons, and in map 19, the enemy keepers suffer a bug with workshops and traps which causes them to overbuild the workshop, place multiple traps per tile, and not be able to recognize when traps are actually filled. Can't tell you how many times I've had this screw up the game.
