    Lightbulb The Burning Sun

    I've come up with a new spell I thought you guys mught want to hear about.

    Name- Burning Sun
    Type- Spell
    Cost/Creature Spells- all your mana/ 100,000 gold
    Does- Burns anything in its path to a dead smithering corpses

    Backround- This spell is very distructive. Any creature, hero, or peasent who gets caught in the blast automaticaly dies, unless they have an ice/water based spell. Those creatures just get knocked out.

    But this spell can only be casted 3 times in the level, so you must use it wisly, and takes up a buch of mana/gold and lasts 1 minuet, with a 4 minuet recharge and takes almost forever to research.

    What do you think.

    That would just be an I-WIN button, so it need to toned down greatly

    well, it can only be casted on your own land, so no casting it on unsespecing keepers.
    And if your creatures get caught in it, the die, no matter how high leveled they are.

    Oh, and the boss creatures and fire resisdent creautres are immune.

    The fact that it can one shot creatures is the problem

    ok, then what if we make a 3 secound worning to all keepers pointing to the spot the spell will be casted. Heros won't care, and comps will try to pick up all creautrs but imps and drop them somewhere safe, unless you upgraded it, which then only had arrow with no alarm.

    That's not to unbalanced, is it?

    The very fact you need to limit it to 3 uses per game shows it is unbalanced. Arbitrary limits = bad design.

    ok, then how bout this.

    You can use the spell once, doesn't affect heat resisters. and can only be casted on your land. Not to mention the fact that it takes up ALL your mana/ A bunch of gold for that one cast. and lasts only 3-5 seconds based upon weather you upgraded it or not.

    And the enemy will always know where its being casted, so it might only work against heros, like if your being invaded by a big group of knights, or faries, or something like that.

    mmm... No. Sounds more like a "plx, plx, take all my mana and cash just dont hurt me plx" kind of spell. Cheat. And if other keeper sees it comming, it's useless. Well, if you want an uber spell, I guess it has to be uber in all ways. Killing everything. Both allies and enemies. Destroying rooms. Damaging Dungeon Heart. Then it's fair.
