Infernal greetings fellow keepers. Thought about these games in the shower this morning and so it's great to find out they're still being worked on.
I suppose I really should have named myself Magik IMP...
Is that why it's not on GitHub yet?
Also, are there no signatures on this forum? Thanks.
But by now it has released: https://keeperklan.com/threads/7218-KeeperFX-0-4-8
And it's on github too: https://github.com/dkfans/keeperfx/tree/Release048
Hello fellow Keepers,
I'm Mark, and I wrote the music to Dungeon Keeper 2. I've joined because I have a question for you - which I'll post in the DK2 section.
I'm a self employed composer and sound designer (for the last 3 years) and have worked in the games industry for 28 years now, Mindscape, Bullfrog, EA, Visual Science, and Codemasters.
I've also released a few "chiptune" albums on Bandcamp and one synth one.
Cheers!

Hello everyone! happy to be here! DK2 is one of the best.![]()
Hello. Since hearing about KeeperFX I decided to revisit my DK1 and DD games with this fan made revamp. Installed it no bother. I even managed to get the old editor to work inside it thanks to a tutorial on here. Also been looking at a better alternative editor called Unearth as well.![]()
Hello Everyone,
I first started playing DK2 in 2013, after seeing Veriax's let's play of it. I then tried out DK1 with KeeperFX in 2018. When I first went through DK1, I found it frustrating, but after doing more research and learning about the tricks that the expert players use, it became my favorite game of all time. I'm personally not too crazy about the fan content, as I prefer the traditional levels, rather than ones that force you to play a certain way.
When going back to DK2, I see it as a decent game, but there are a lot of questionable changes it has, that make it arguably inferior to DK1. It does do some things I like such as mana, better trap variety and the ability to attack them directly.
