I just need to fix the face a bit, then my concept is ready. Kyle didn't like the face of my Fairy xD fair enough, I'd really gone all-out on it.

I'll make a pretty attractive fairy face, yay.

Okay I fixed the face a bit. Concept of the Fairy. I can do it in full color and detail if you like it.

    Hey, stumbled over here.

I think that if you're going for this"Tinkerbell" look you should really go all out with it. As it is I see a half-elf-moth thing and it doesn't really evoke the idea of a 'fairy' to me.

Now to fit with the DK style I see a very feminine kind of creature, something that's delicate. This doesn't really evoke that for me.
    Suggestions:
Really go for the Tinkerbell if you want that look.
    Make the fairy feminine/delicate
If you're not going for Tinkerbell change the dress/clothing to something less ragged, she's a 'hero' (see: goodly) unit after all and I doubt she'd wear scraps of clothing like this.

Anyway, just some suggestions hope I catch you before you start coloring.

Actually, we should save the Tinkerbell look more for the Pixie neutral. The Tinkerbell look fits more with that, and we can't make both units too much alike.

Yeah I agree on your suggestions as you already know. She should look more delicate and fragile, since that's how she is in DK. (Her stats say so!) We shouldn't have a situation where a Creature (Dark Mistress) looks more feminine than a Hero. (The Fairy especially)

Not to mistake her from a pixie. I'm going to give her a more fragile Pin-up look.

I got back to the fairy, and I changed her quite a bit, so the style would be a bit more cartoony and interesting, and matching Dungeon Keeper a bit more. Since the other picture I posted, was a bit realistic and kinda boring.

Anyway, I also made a quick color while I was at it.
