I forget, when you edit a level in DK, is it editing the maps in the "LEVELS" folder? Or is it editing something in the "LDATA" folder? Forgive the dumb question as I am half asleep while trying to get everything ready to release my new version...

It is editing the maps in the "Levels" folder only. I don't think it's altering something in the "LData" folder.

Thank you for the clarification, I will hopefully have all this ready to go by tommarow... :-)
Ah Neutral walls, ime, always been able to be knocked down by possessing an imp and hitting away at it. eventually it'll break. I found out on the Original Dk Level 18 when I first played it and didn't realise you could find the destroy walls. I frustratedly attacked the wall with my imp only for it to result in the wall collapsing.
Plus sometimes when I've played where there's been Neutral wall next to claimed area, it will return to Earth when any of the other tiles surrounding it are claimed. An open ended rule of Neutral walls is that each open side of the wall needs to be claimed to return to Earth. Not necessarily by the same player (as long as none of them are Neutral). So for your "plan" to work you'd have to place Hero doors on Neutral claimed area. Which is possible but then if you have Neutral creatures on the map near this they will attempt to knock the door down.

Normally, neutral creatures shouldn't attack doors, but there's a bug in KeeperFX that allows them to do so. An example of that bug is the last level of the original DK campaign, Skybird Trill, where neutral flies and beetles are attacking the south door, causing them to die with the lightning trap.
This is something that should be fixed.
