    By using both, it makes your army too powerful. Either you buff your physical defense, or your magical defense. And you have to measure your opponent's strength before you decide, and you should measure correctly.

    2. Sometimes one of my imps dies while delivering traps or doors if they wander into enemy terrain to do so. However, with creatures, the chances are higher. Usually, you would have to drop another imp to collect the fallen workshop box.
    BUT
    If we are going to use it to power-up the whole creature set, then it probably work better if it happens automatically, like doors in DK1.

    As a side note, nothing real serious...
    Maybe we should give creature bonuses, like the goblin fireball. Lol. I got the idea from level6b. Listen to the sound file it has, it will mention something about Grubb, the Elite Goblin. It says he has a golden blade that shoots fireballs, no joke.

    I forgot which level it mentioned the elite warlock, (also forgot elite warlock's name) but he uses ice. And in level 3 there is supposedly a casino, according to the speech file it has.

    Nice... Even though I find the idea closer to level dependent factors. You can pay gold once the upgrade is ready and that happens when the creature reaches a level of xp.
    Also its better to just gather ore, which can be converted into Iron, Steel, or Black Metal. It would be a shame for our minions to be restricted to iron and also complicated to have each metal in their own crude form.

    Creature Evolution
    -------------------------
    -Creatures gradually change features as they level-up:
    1.All males gain muscle or become fatter (bile demon, orc)
    2.Horned creatures come with she-goat like horns and gain longer and thicker horns as they level up.
    3.Each humanoid creature comes unarmed at first. And must get their weapons from the blacksmith. As they level up their higher level weapons become available at the blacksmith/workshop. They have to go there and claim their new weapons, after they are constructed:
    1.Goblins 1-7 get random crude iron weapons. At level 8 they get crude steel weapons. They wear leather armour from level 5 and iron at level 8.
    2.Mistresses 1-4 are wearing latex all over their body with only their down-the-nose face uncovered and get iron claws. At level 5 they uncover their buttocks and bust. They get iron pauldrons and steel claws. At level 8-10 they get "x" tapes on their breasts, uncover the half of their thighs. They get black metal pauldrons, boots and claws.
    3.Bile demons:
    i. Are fat and round, like a red ball with a fat head and horns and has all-black eyes. As in DK1.
    but as they gain levels become even bigger and they gain fat to their lower face and cheeks.
    ii. Their arms become more muscular.
    iii.Their boar-like teeth grow.
    iv.At the beginning their colour is light red (almost pink) and as they level up they become red
    v.They are naked, until level 4 where they get brown leather shirts with suspenders and shoulder spikes at level 8.
    4.Vampires (male) level 1-4 wear a black robe. At level 5 wear steel talons and wear a red robe with some steel reinforcements. A small shield on their heart area and a high pauldron to protect them from impalement and beheading, respectively. At level 8 they get a black metal plate armour with a red cloak.
    At levels 1-4 they have long black hair and are quite pale. At level 5 they get very pale and their hair are grey. At level 8 they are dead-white and so is their hair.
    5.Vampiresses gain the same equipment as the vampire but in more sexy way. They wear semi-transparent veil. They get a metal shield over their heart but leaving uncovered half their right breast.
    1.Horny level 1-4 has a farmer-like iron scythe, at level 5 gets a steel one and at level 8 a black metal scythe, which stays closed and opens when something needs to be cut. Level 1-4 wears no armour he only has his shoulder horns and wears a leather belt.He gets a steel armour at level 5 and wears His nose piercing (consisting of hoove covers, waist chain, one pauldron, chains across his.chest and back). At level 8 gets a black metal armour like in DK2 with additional crossed chains across his chest/back.

    Oh no not this again, I thought we were done with this idea after the months of debate in the old forums lol. After i'm back from training I'll look round and edit this post my copying and pasting large maounts of past arguments i made lol.

    Ok I actualy cannot for the life of me find the whole iron debate on the old forum, so unless Asterick deleted it for some reason, I suck at looking. Anyways if you guys wanna do this so be it, I don't have strength left to fight this corner all over again with brand new people lol, but essentialy this is not age of empires, a new resource might make the game more complex, but wont make it more fun in any way. You either use it for all things so that rooms and such need multiple resources which will be a pain, or you keep it for specific items such as traps and doors, which dosent give it enough purpose. Fighting over the getting the most of the 1 universal resource (gold) has worked great thus far, why change that?
