    yeah but , early game heroes are going to have the upper hand in combat (considering higher stats and LotL) but creatures late game (considering keeper spells and numbers); or is it intended to be like this?

    Heroes have higher stats but Creatures have higher numbers, so throughout the whole game, the Heroes and Creatures will be evenly matched in that aspect. Also, the Heroes will also have access to Spells like the Dungeon Keeper. It would be a very foolish mistake to not give them access to that as that would give the Keeper Side a huge advantage. It was also mentioned in my previous post that the Heroes may have their own variation of Keeper Spells. They may get a slightly different selection of "Keeper" Spells but I am not certain on that.

    As for the Lord of the Land and other changes between Keeper/Lord sides aside from the Units, I'd rather not get into the details there as not all the information is set in stone. In fact, most of it is still in progress to be created. I've been working out a lot of the details and functions by myself but I have yet to present them to kyle or anyone else in the team. So until my ideas are fully adopted by WftO, I shouldn't really talk about them in detail publicly.

    The only thing that I know is probably "set in stone" is that the Heroes will have a Lord of the Land and the Lord side will play differently from the Keeper side in order to expand gameplay further, hopefully without losing the Dungeon Keeper feel on the Hero Side.

    I wonder if there could be a secondary campaign for the heroes. That would be new and interesting in terms of direction, plus it would introduce whatever mechanics you choose to implement for skirmish/multiplayer.

    I'd love to see the heroes as a prologue campaign so that the keepers still win in the long run

    will the heroes also have their own variation of traps and doors?

    In DK 2 there was the Steel Door (Hero Portcullis), the Hero Sentry Trap and the Hero Alarm trap as different designs. Now that they are playable I'd say the same applies, only more so.

    Whether any stats are different in any way... I guess we'll find out.

    If I recall correctly, the Hero variations of the Steel Door and Sentry Trap were only visual as they are statistically the same. The Alarm Trap doesn't seem to be different at all though, not even visually.

    I'm about as certain of Heroes getting a different selection of Traps/Doors as I am about them getting a new set of Spells.

(Rooms like the Graveyard and Prison for example)

    If you don't like changes like that, don't worry. There also will be a mode where you play as the Dungeon Keeper as usual but you use Heroes instead of Creatures.
    LOL, yeah clawcity even admits that he does not know why he put certain changes in there. I play tested that and pointed out all the major flaws and balance issues, so he is going to be patching that later on.

    It will be great when your MOD gets released though. ^^
