Default DK1 KeeperFX multiplayer over TCP/IP

Not sure if this belongs in DK1 multiplayer or KeeperFX... move if required.

I noticed KeeperFX had a TCP/IP option in the multiplayer screen.
However, I have tried with both LAN and hamachi and I am unable to see eachother or eachother's game...

Does this option even work, or am I required to get IPX running on Windows 7 64bit?

In KeeperFX, only the TCP/IP option works. It is mentioned in readme, and there's a separate text file explaining how to use TCP/IP.

Hope it works for you. I've never played DK1 multiplayer before myself. I'm not really that good with the game. D:

Haven't tried it yet (other player's PC decided to bluescreen right before we went to try it and had to be re-installed), but I will get back to you with my experiences after we tried it!

    It worked!

    I played a few games, 1vs1 over TCP/IP.
The game speed is OK, and once in a while it might have to take a few seconds resyncing, but other than that it goes smoothly!

It crashes when you use posession though, so we had to agree to not use that.

Were you playing in the same room or you played against a player far away?
I like dragons! They're the center of my life! I'll never forget them...

I post here my multiplayer experience and some considerations...
Just had a multiplayer game with my sis. I was connected to the router through Wi-fi, she to the router with cable. The game went very well, we even used possession. We used Keeper FX 0.40 I copied the keeper folder in her PC because she hadn't Dungeon Keeper at all. So we played on 2 identical copies of the game (with some modifications made by me), and I think that the reason of the good performace was in the fact that we were playing on 2 identical copies of the game. I think almost all of us make some modifications (more or less) to the original game and I wonder how the game will handle different settings in games, for example, if I change the temple recipes, and the other gamer doesn't, how the game will handle the temple sacrifices?
