    Default Skirmish-Change Position

    hey,

im new and i have a question.
is it possible to start a skirmish on an other position and with an other color? i would like to play maps like siege and nemesis in the big fortress.
if it isn't possible to change ingame. are there commands or something like this?

    thanks,

You can't play with a different color. For the positions; You can always chanche the area with the editor. If you don't want that, look in the maps section. There are many skirmish or even new campaign maps. But if you want to play siege or nemesis SO BADLY in a different position, I could do that for you. But it would take some time, the editor doesn't save the files right on my new computer, I'd have to figure that out first.

Load the map, then click at "Player" on the side bar, then you have to redo all the tiles of the other keeper. After that, click at the other keeper and make your normal start area his. But if you want that keeper to work, you would've to change the script a little bit, it wouldn't be a challenge if you'd fight nemesis if he hasn't his castle. His commands would lead his army to death, again and again, without giving you a challenge.
You should realy take a look at the "Maps" forum. There are alot of great skirmish maps.

    hey,
i think i am not able to make these changes. you said you could do this 2 maps for me ^^. so it would be great, if you would make them playable in other position, but if you dont't want to, than it isn't that bad.

Like I said, I have to resolve the issue with my editor first. When it works properby again, I'll do these maps for you. ; )

It seems that I can't fix the editor issue by myself. I'll start a new thread and ask for a solution. If no one knows how to fix the problem, you should consider to ask someone else. If no one shows up I can also try to lay my hands on my old computer again, but no promises there.
But hey, maybe someone here knows what's wrong with my editor!

I could do it. It doesn't take too much effort. Sadly, I do not have the editor on this computer, or anything related to DK2. Or DK1.
