There is absoluetly nothing wrong with DK Mobile, whatsoever.
Hm, what is still not clear to me from what I see in the data is how the game understands what creatures come from keeper, or hero portal. Looks like all good creatures have merc. Portal checkbox unchecked. Checking it and placing a hero portal in a level has no effect. Additionally, it does look like saving over a map with a working hero portal (like frostys maps) breaks the ones in the map.
toni, as the data expert - what does the game editor place for the hero portal? It at least looks like there is data discrepancy between that the frostys map has for hero portal, and the hero portal itself (tile data is actually different per tile). Do these rooms come from ROOMS.KWD (what we actually place)?
If this is just an incorrect data issue, I can perhaps fix the hero portal. One other thing that concerns me though is why the portal stopped working when I wrote a copy of the map. Perhaps something in Globals conflicts with the portal?

Hero portals come from Things. Few rooms are stored there also. TerrainId on the tile must refer to the room but also the entry must be found from Things. I don't know if they are really linked by an ID, we use coordinates to identify this relation.toni, as the data expert - what does the game editor place for the hero portal? Apparently "Player 1" is Player ID 3.
I assume that "1" is neutral, and "2" is good? (Assuming of course that they start at 1, which seems to be the case with most data so far).

I noticed something myself as well, When going through Skarok's Seats of Power Expansion I found an interesting piece in the Engine Textures; T_Claimed_Path5 mipmap files are missing however there are T_Claimed_Wall5 mipmaps which means there is a 6th keeper or something. Idk if that's actually true or not, I may have to experiment.
