    Default Multiplayer 1.8 or 1.7.3?

    Greetings!

I'm writing here in hope of finding a community who remembers this great game, and who still try to find multiplayer foes, even to this day. I'm pretty sure there are some of us, since i saw that a few people check the forums sometimes
My question is if i wish to play, should i use the 1.7.3 version, or the the newest, 1.8 instead?

    Thanks is advance!

I've never tried 1.8 so I wouldn't know which of those two versions is better, but you should probably try using 1.3 in order to obtain maximum stability of the game.

As a matter of fact, 1.7.3 works pretty stabile for me so far, using some tweaks.

I add to the end of the target of the shortcut these: -32biteverything -disablegamma

i will test these settings with 1.8 as well

    I rarely crashed on 1.3-1.5.

1.7 always gives me a 0 player error as well as lots of crashes.
