    Default KeeperFX savegames

    mefistotelis, now that I see changes in UI (rewritten get_button_area_input function), will be difficult to add the ability to add infinite savegame slots? This will require also some UI modifications like add some up and down arrows, but I see that they are already drawed!, they appear on "Load Game" option from the main menu (not from Load Game option during the gameplay), can you take the advantage of this to add it to KeeperFX easily?

    Also, more than 14 chars for the savegame titles will be good, sometimes this is too short for a savegame description.

    I was trying to figure how can the scroll for the savegame be done. This is an approach:

    I have taken the scroll button from the sound options:


    I have done the vertical bar taking the corners from the horizontal bars from the sound options too to maintain the original shadow direction, not just copying the entire horizontal scroll and turning it 90ยบ to the right.
    I have all the image elements in separate files (vertical bar, button, and final composed result) using the original palette from DK if needed. The button have two images (one when we click on it that is lighted, and the other without light).

    Load game screen from the main menu has a different style (panel and scroll):

    That's a great idea.

    Not sure which scroll bar looks better.

    Maybe the sound options screen one.

    It's an interesting idea to just provide the scrollbar.

    Anyway, I think I'll leave this change for later.
