    Default IDA PRO - Keeper Fx Editor

    Hi everybody, I'm willing to start a new project, making the editor fully compatible with windows 7. I don't really know what i'm going into but it seems that is going to make me learn a lot about programming and helping a great deal the community.

    So because of the complexity of the task I wanted to know if I could had support from you guys.

    Besides the obvious stuff to make it work in win7/8 will you be able to add functionality? "Locate Hidden Realm" for example?

    Well I don't know. That's why I can't help Mefisto as I want to. I have a rudimentary level of C programming and software. So I understand how things work. But first of all I need to clean the Editor project so I can get something i can use. After this, I could send the project to someone who has more abilities if my programming level hasn't increased. So for now I'd say no. But time will tell. What do you expect with locate hidden realm ? I mean if you dig out the whole map it won't be possible. Only thing you can do is transform bedrock into earth.

    Even a small progress is still a progress. If we had functions in the editor named properly, we could think about something more.

    It's like with decoding the DK2 textures - it took a few years, and more than 10 people participated in it, but finally we've made a decoder.
    As long as we share our results, we move forward together.

    If only I could have the knowledge of decompiling, assembly code and stuff...
    But I could help by giving feedbacks and suggestions, or testing and reporting bugs with pleasure.

    Well you know I have no merit, I've just gone over the point 'I'm bad at everything' and I started helping the way I can. I don't know everything about assembly either, I have absolutely no idea how to clean the code or get the functions name for now (i'm at 300/1400.) But when I will have similar knowledge as mefisto i will make tutorials to share it, with tips and everything so that people can go faster behind.

    Edit : And to be honest, I would not be here without you because your website is where i discovered KeeperFx

    I'm guessing this project is no longer active? Such a shame, looked very promising.
