Default Some questions about scriptings and unusual settings

    Hello!

I was wondering some things and I came to result as I need some help. Here is the questions. I hope you can answer as soon as possible.

    1. Is it possible to unable to use possession spell? if yes, what shortcutted name it has?

    2. If I set action point to creature, and when it is destroyed, the information bar shows up. In what command this would happen? I know action point number must be used on exact. And also, if I set it on whole group of e.g. heroes, do I need to have same a-point for each one on group?

    3. What is the limit to use multiply creatures dungeon special? There is a limit about what is the max of creatures what you can duplicate. Also, what is the limit of using creatures on map?

    4. Also, if your claimed area is big and rooms are massively huge ( half-map-kind-of ), this effects generation speed of entrance ( they stop generating on exact amount when limit is reached ) Question is, what is the limit of claimed area and rooms of not affecting entrance generating?

    5. Can you add tunneller party as imps?

    6. What is the command of setting generation speed of scavenger room?

    7. What is the limit of amount of money? 999 999 999?

EDIT: Tutorial/Manual did not tell these exactly

As far as I know, no. Possession is always available in regular DK1. Not sure if KeeperFX will change this.

What? You can't "set" an Action Point on anything. An Action Point is nothing more than a static point (and radius) on a map. And it can't be destroyed. The only thing it can do is trigger when a creature enters its radius.

There is a total limit of 255 creatures on the map. As far as I know, multiply creatures is only limited by that.

I'm not aware of any of this. As far as I know, generation speed is always the same regardless of room/area size/creature count (unless the cap is reached, in which case no creatures come out). I only know of such a system in DK2.

What do you mean by "as imps"?

If you mean creating a tunneller party using an Imp to dig, I'm not sure. I never tried it. I think I recall mefistotelis saying it could be possible somewhere. Try creating a hero party with an Imp as leader. I'd be interested to see if it works.

There is no such command. Creature scavenging speed is defined per creature species in the creature config files (creature.txt in DK1).

    Pretty sure it's 2^31-1, or 2147483647.

Would be perfect if they could change this, seriously.

Oh, it only work on that way. Hmm, but no problem, I found a solution.

I had 58 creatures and I used multiply creatures, nothing duplicated

Oh, I have found this on original Dungeon Keeper as well. Build very big rooms and see what happens to portal. How many creatures you get. ( It also affects on Create Imp spell)

I would be VERY SURPRISED if no one second this about what I have experienced.

    I will do that

In KeeperFX, all keeper powers are named in this file:
    https://code.google.com/p/keeperfx/s...data/magic.cfg

You should be able to disable any spell in KeeperFX; I wouldn't recommend to disable POWER_HAND though.

    New question:

How do I exactly put as on script if:

I want to Player0 loses the game if total imps less than 1? is it possible?

    Code:
    IF(PLAYER0, TOTAL_IMPS < 1)
    	LOSE_GAME
    ENDIF
A list of variables (like TOTAL_IMPS) can be found here.

In case of doubt, you can send your script or your map here.

Otherwise, like mentioned before, there's a max of 255 creatures on the level. Not only yours, ALL of them, including imps. You must take that into consideration.
Too much big rooms is not recommended as it drastically increases the amount of things on a level, which is limited too.
I like dragons! They're the center of my life! I'll never forget them...
