    Default Self-defeating levels

Normandy. Ok, this level is in dire need of a cleanup. Textures randomly turning into impenetrable rock, randomised hero drops potentially meaning you will be outnumbered and outgunned, and the coding for this level, jesus. That's not to mention some rambling about a fictional version of WW2 as an intro message.

Return of the Keeper campaign, especially Skybird trill. Ok, your rival keepers are allied with each other and the heroes against you, you cannot replace lost creatures, and your creatures are far weaker compared to the Heroes, while worst of all, they can use lightning and you have zero offensive spells. Oh, and prepare to go bankrupt before the heroes mount their first wave offensive. Ok, you might as well have coded in the US Marine Corps as heroes if you want to make it that hard!

    What campaign is Normandy from?

I've never heard of Return of the Keeper. Where is this from?

    1) http://keeper.lubiki.pl/html/dk1_map....php?start=012

    2) Return of the Keeper was a campaign created by Zyraen on this forum. It's basically Dungeon Keeper where failure is the only option.

You realize that map is over 3 years old right? It isn't going to be fixed :L

I heard most these maps aren't exactly that great quality so not really surprised.

I have found a Return of the Keeper download on this site, but it's just 3 levels. The thread seemed to suggest there were mor elevels than this - is there a more recent download link somewhere?

"Normandy" is horribly broken in every way, as Oetelaer/dragonfist by that point became some sort of crazy religious fanatic with completely insane ideas in everything, including this case of utterly insane map design.

(He also once renamed the same map to "Alcatraz" and called it an unofficial sequel to Duke Ragereaver's Undead Keeper campaign because of more crazy reasoning that he felt the latter was "incomplete" due to not having 20 levels. Yeah. It managed to spark multiple flamewars back then, most of which has since been deleted.)

Just don't touch it, and get rid of it. It's one of the best examples of how Sturgeon's Law applies to DK1 maps.

EDIT: For morbidly curious people, here's a link of what remains of the madness.

Meanwhile, Return of the Keeper (which I think is on this site) goes out of its way to be utterly murder (I've played return to skybird trill. How the hell are 9 creatures supposed to be remotely enough when facing dozens of heroes)?
