    Default Survey : Multiplayer KeeperFX

    Here are multiplayer comments from the survey:

    I believe if DK1 got multiplayer it would see a big revival. Everything else is less important.

    Stable multiplayer is needed to attract new players

    Would be nice to have a new netcode Server/Client type with dedicated server software. I know there are a few remakes out there, that people could maybe MOD to the original DK once they get netplay added. But no idea if anyone is motivated.

    Balance - if 1v1 or 2v2 Multiplayer is to be a thing, you will need to ensure there are balanced creatures, strategies, and maps. This includes making rapidly picking up and dropping creatures not possible via e.g. DK2-style stuns on drop, or simply not letting players pick up creatures in combat, or... no matter how you fix it, it's a big problem

    Having multiplayer as my first preference I didn't mean PvP, rather I primarily meant that the AI needs to be fixed so that the game is playable outside of campaigns.


    I believe no work has been done for multiplayer for a long time? I know that multiplayer is a huge driver for games on xbox, Playstation etc.

    This one is easy.

    Give me my Multiplayer.

    I'm interested in playing DK1 with others. Not out of competition, actually more for the potential learning experience and food for thought if I ever get back to that DK1 patch that I seem to be fond of mentioning.

    Actually the guy who was in charge of it added to do functions, so someone with basic c/c++ knowledge should be able to do it.
