    Default Unable to run in windowed mode with KeeperFX and DKG from GOG

    I have been wanting to get DKG for quite a while, I had a blast with it as a teenager and have fond memories of it. In that time I came across KeeperFX and have always kept it in mind, so when I actually got a copy of DKG from GOG I immediately went about installing it. I can run the game just fine, but I can not seem to get the game to run windowed. Here is what I have tried:

    1. Attempted to use the GOG graphics config to get windowed mode. No dice.

    2. Attempted to use the KeeperFX launcher to add a custom res of 1024x768w32 (as per the readme) and that didn't work.

    3. I attempted a few windower tools, but all of them result in a crash on load.

    Anyone else have any ideas?

    I am running on Win7 64-bit, and the game is not installed in a UAC controlled folder.

    Thank you for your time.

    For KeeperFX , open the KeeperFX.cfg file located in the KeeperFX directory and change -every-
    blablaxblablax32
    by
    blablaxblablaw32

    save the changes, KeeperFX will now be windowed

    For GOG version, go to the ...\GOG Games\Dungeon Keeper Gold\ directory and open the file named dosboxDK.conf
    scroll a bit and you will see
    fullscreen=true

    change it to

    fullscreen=false

    save the changes, the DOSBox GOG is using will now be windowed

    Thank you kindly for the info. Now my only issue is that the window is extremely tiny and no matter how I edit the res info the window gets bigger but the game is still tiny inside the window...
