Biography:

Once upon a time (okay it's only 15 years ago but whatever) an Orc by the name of Orkaias existed. He had a great desire for power, but once he got so powerful he couldn't physically improve any further, he consulted a warlock who claimed he could give him enough power to beat all the local heroes singlehandedly. Orkaias and the warlock agreed that if Orkaias got the power, the warlock would get 30% of any land that Orkaias would conquer.

Unfortunately, the warlock made a mistake while casting the spell and accidentally transformed the two of them into flies. Consumed with rage, Orkaias, who then changed his name into Flyrayas, killed the warlock before realizing he had just killed the only person who could possibly have helped him. Now stuck forever in fly form, Flyrayas, who still had his desire for power, decided to improve his powers as a fly, capitilizing on his speed and agility he gained as a fly. Heroes beware... for a fly?

Now, after an unlucky case of an icicle dropping on his head in the cold place of Northland, he lost his memories and a large part of his sanity, and dubbed himself "Ray" now. Only time will tell how that will end up.

Other things: It's a cross of a Vampire and a Fly. Still able to fly, but much slower than normal flies. It's also much bigger than normal flies, and much more durable, because it's made of different, more resistant stuff. Also, new Ray has multiple personality disorder, because it now physically consists of parts of other dead bodies as well. Hilarity shall ensue.
Unlike regular flies, as a Vampire Fly, it has nontransparent whitish-grey wings and a red body.

Biography:

Ray was a fly who died entirely nontragically in Keeper Tesonu's dungeon, in the far northern land of Northland. It seemed that the world would never be tormented by his miserable life's existence ever again.

However, when Ray's body ended up in Tesonu's graveyard, his spirit adamantly refused to stay dead, and made an attempt to resurrect itself. It didn't go easy, although given the circumstances, it defies reality that the scheme worked at all. Now, he has risen again as a Vampire Fly. However, because Ray's body is made up out of different dead bodies, some personalities from different creatures also emerged, and are struggling to take control. This leads to the new Vampire Ray having multiple personality disorder, with each different personality occasionally emerging and causing mischief in whatever ways a vampire fly-form can cause mischief.

The (currently known) personalities are as follows:

Flyrayas is the original creature, whose body is now vampirized and hosting the other personalities. Flyrayas is really just a poor schmuck and butt monkey from Tesonu's dungeon. Really does not like all the crap he's saddled with, particularly the fact that he's still Tesonu's minion. The Vampire Fly ordeal just makes everything even worse than it already was.

Ray is a split and/or deformed personality of the original Flyrayas, who came up in an unfortunate instance of Flyrayas getting whacked on the head at some point inside Tesonu's dungeon. Contrasting Fly's serious nature, Ray is always cheerful and sees the best in everything. His friendly nature, though, just tends to make him a general annoyance towards anyone he encounters.

Asoke (full name "Asokelepsis") used to be a Warlock obsessed with biological research. Having an especially vested interest in creature anatomy, he has spent multiple decades frequently by analyzing dead bodies of all different kinds of creatures. (Nobody ever dared ask where he got his healthy stock of dead bodies from.) Along with this, he acquired vast amounts of knowledge of world science in his research. Eventually, his never-ending quest for scientific knowledge came to a halt when he died under mysterious circumstances involving approximately a dozen human corpses and copious amounts of blood and intestines. However, even this was merely a temporary setback, as Asoke is again living (sort of) under decidedly curious circumstances - trapped in an anatomical abomination of nature he never knew even existed.

Kel Duar (generally just known as "Duar") is everything evil, as he likes to think. He's also a complete idiot. By some sort of miracle, he managed to ascend in life all the way up to becoming a Black Knight soldier, at which point took his stuff and abandoned all his duties so he could do his evil things solo. Duar then proceeded to terrorize the lands, beating up random people, killing puppies, kidnapping babies, and stabbing more random people again. All the while, he continued to have his aspirations of eventually conquering the planet, ruling the world with an iron fist like a true evil overlord, and/or just killing them all. Eventually, his relatively brief reign of terror ended when he was killed to death when a peasant accidentally caused Duar to trip and stab himself in the chest. Duar still curses the peasant to this day.

Biography: (for both of them)

Krua and Skios are Spider twins, who were born and raised in a spider nest, very far away. However, a few years ago Heroes raided the nest, and most of the spiders were killed. Only few managed to escape, Krua and Skios among them, although they quickly ended up separated from the rest. They spent the following months hunting down all Heroes they could find, as revenge. Doing so they got skilled as assassins, both using Invisibility, sneaking into favorable positions, followed by Krua using Freeze and both finishing off a Hero, one at a time. As they later on lived moving from dungeon to dungeon, serving Keepers to further eliminate Heroes or whatever their opposition was, they still used the same assassination tactics. That was, until a Wizard managed to snatch away their powers.

Now the two are still living in dungeons, trying to regain their powers back to kill the Wizard that managed to weaken them.

Biography:
Scutus was born on the overworld, on the shoreline of one of the Red Crystal Islands, from a beetle colony which had learnt to adapt itself to its watery surroundings. Shortly after birth, Scutus was captured by Heroes who used him and others of his kind in a new plan by the Heroes to train them as meat-shield pets, to support their forces. As such, Scutus was raised with a special diet and training in order to be as effective as possible for his purpose.

However, at one point, on a field mission, Scutus along with a party of Heroes got ambushed by the forces of evil, and Scutus was the only survivor. Scutus was captured by the local Dungeon Keeper and enlisted in his troops. In the dungeon, Scutus found he had vastly more freedom than on the Overworld as a tool for the Heroes. Scutus lived in the dungeon for a long time, and he enjoyed his new life there, but eventually the dungeon was overrun with Heroes and the Keeper defeated. Scutus escaped. Scutus learned who his enemies really were. Now, through the underworld, Scutus returned to his homeland of Red Crystal, his goal being to assist in ridding his land off the plague that lives on the Overworld.

Biography:

Formerly a Beetle raised in Hero ranks as a meat shield, then escaped and wound up in dungeons. Eventually got unceremoniously killed in battle in Red Crystal Islands, his body drifting off in the waters and disappearing in the distance.

Some time later, his body was uncovered by a mysterious band of warlocks, who sought to use him as a test subject for their experiments of unholy methods of creature resurrection - while at the same time, amplifying his strengths in order to turn him into their ultimate workhorse. While they succeeded in his resurrection, he turned somewhat mentally unstable, and escaped back to the Red Crystal Islands waters before passing out again, drifting off to wherever fate shall bring him...again...

Biography: Many decades ago, Voro was a human Warlock who fought for the overworld. However, he got interested in the dark arts of magic, and when he tried it out he became addicted to the dark arts and gradually became corrupted by the evil magic. His fellow Heroes considered this betrayal and he was abandoned deep underground by the Heroes. Because of this, Voro developed a hatred against humans and in the meantime he continued further studying the dark arts. After years of seclusion, and having gone slightly insane from the powers of darkness, he returned to the Overworld and attacked his former allies, the Heroes. However, he was then about to be defeated by the Heroes, but shortly before his death he cast a dark curse on the land he stood on, while swearing he would return.

This land would much, much later turn out to be the same land as where Keeper Tesonu's graveyard is located. After enough organic resources have piled up, Voro's spirit would reassemble with it. He swore he would return, and now he has.

Personality: Psychotic, with less morals than the average wall brick. Takes great pleasure in fighting and inflicting pain, which appear to her as an orgasmic game. Generally aggressive.

Biography: Thela was the daughter of very abusive and alcoholic parents, who used to physically hurt her on a regular basis. As the abuse went on throughout the years, Thela's senses and feelings became twisted and she started to enjoy it. However, despite that, after a longer time, she grew bored of it all, and she ran away from home. She then went off down to the underworld, seeking only to have some fun - fun in a twisted sense.

Biography: The origins of this hellhound is unclear. It's said that it's a hellish spawn created by a high grade Demon from the deep ends of the underworld, and it has been serving Dungeon Keepers for as long as anybody knows.

Biography: Grey has always been just a regular overworld human. At around young adulthood, he found out he was gifted with exceptional archer skills and decided to make a living of it, hunting beasts and eventually joining the Hero forces to the underworld to slay Dungeon Keepers and their demonic creatures. Over the times, he's built up years of experience with archery, making him a worthy combatant in the ranks.

Biography:

Elatos is a young warrior from the Whitestar tribe of Dark Angels which resides deep in the mountains in the far north. The Whitestar tribe prides itself in being a mighty, disciplined warrior race despite only existing in small numbers. As part of the Whitestar young warriors' maturity ritual, Elatos was sent off to the outside world, in order to prove his worth as a warrior worthy of the title of being a Whitestar warrior. His quest has already started months prior, but is still far from its end.

As such, the Dark Gods, in order to honor Tesonu's sacrifices, guided Elatos to Tesonu's dungeon, where he could continue to prove his value as a warrior.

The spider half of her body is pitch black, and all of her human-half body except her hands and her head are covered in countless layers of web threads, which are half black and half white. Her hair is shoulder-length and dark green in color.

Biography: An enigmatic creature, nobody knows what her goals or intentions are - possibly not even she knows. All anybody knows is murderous hatred towards anything she percieves as enemy - particularly against rivalrous spellcasters like wizards or warlocks.

Appearance: Looks like a regular Salamander, except her skin color is a slightly brighter, whiter shade. She also has a slightly longer tail and longer arms than regular Salamanders. She wears broad, plain, golden bracelets on her wrists and her ankles; her front bracelets both encrusted with a single, shiny, red ruby.

Her tongue has cut off all the way from the inside of her mouth in a combat incident.

Biography: Serena is born and raised in a dungeon with a Keeper who placed importance on the use of magic, utilizing many Warlocks and maximizing his own mana rates to the point that the dungeon shrouded itself in a thin layer of latent mana. Serena's time growing up in the dungeon's aura of mana eventually caused her to develop minor psychic skills and magic healing abilities. Circumstances were good, as the keeper's dungeon was more cozy than most; the Keeper put a lot of value in creating an ideal working space for his Warlocks and his other creatures.

Eventually, after growing up in her home dungeon for ten years, Serena was forced to flee as a rival force defeated her Keeper. Since then, she has been traveling around, looking for dungeons that could provide her the comfort that she has missed since she has fled her home.
